Dollywood | Firechaser Express | Gerstlauer Dual Launch

Re: Dollywood | "Firechaser Express" | Gerstlauer Dual Launc

This keeps getting better every time I look at it. It's not going to set the thrill ride world alight, but it's going to be a solid ride for Dollywood.

Here's the train unveiling at IAAPA.

Look at that!

This is the Gerstlauer Family type taken to a whole new level, and knowing how well those coasters ride, I'm having a good feeling about this!

I love the swooping turn close to the hill!

Great! Now I have a reason to go to Tennessee.
So Wild Eagle, Tennessee Tornado, Mystery Mine and Thunderhead aren't enough reason? It took a family Gerstlauer to persuade you? ;)

But couldn't they have just kept a portion of Adventure Mountain. :(

The elevation of the coaster reaches some pretty high areas between hugging the terrain, you can see in this photo below that was posted on their Facebook:

It's Dollywood.
Who would expect something ugly from Herschend?

(Can't blame the garbage at 7-Credit Park on Herschend. (Wild Adventures))
