Cedar Point | Siren's Curse | Vekoma Tilt Coaster | 2025

Got to see the plot over the weekend - can confirm it's a big hole in the ground.

The lightup sign above was a fun feature for nighttime viewing - it was actually a chasing color light, that was super eye catching from the midway.

I will say, I continue to receive texts from all friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and strangers have been asking me my thoughts on "the Cedar Point coaster that has a gap in it's track!" They're hitting the algorithm hard... and everyone has completely forgotten about TT2. 😅

They've got their work cut out for them to open this by next summer. Especially with them reshaping the area around the ride as well.

If someone asked I'm sure they'd build one. They did sell one a few years ago to a park in China but the park went belly up before the ride went vertical. They only got as far as putting some footers down.

Ah so that’s the mystery fourth sale then.

Meanwhile at Cedar Point, Phase 3 of permits has gone in for additional ride foundations and utilities. I couldn’t tell you what exactly this encompasses.

What are the chances this will be open by Memorial Day? Apparently, they're picking up speed now.
I doubt it, especially as they merged with six flags who is notorious for opening rides midway, or even almost at the end of a season. For example Joker at Six Flags STL was a summer 2024 ride and opened for fright fest.

Let's not forget though that "Six Flags" is truly Cedar Fair executives within a Six Flags shell. ;)

If there's a park that would open a very late, flipped coaster relatively on time, it's Cedar Point. Only time will tell, especially for any additional modification needed for altering Perimeter Road, etc.
