Re: At last - The June USA trip! (day 9 - 3 park madness!)
Day 10 - The sweetest airtime on earth
Yes - Day 10 was a revisit to hershey park (and again, the buses and trains worked fine!)
So - what would laff trak be like, and would skyrush be as good as I remembered? and why did I only take about 8 photos?
Made a dash straight to skyrush as soon as I arrived
- and Yes, it was just as good, if not better than I remembered - bucketloads of airtime, and extreme trills pretty much from the moment you engage on the lift hill - great ride throughout the train - front is great for the view, and sitting at the back watching the rest of the train fly down the first drop gives you a real "oh crap" moment! Just insane and went up to number one on my list - I didn't get much of the "thighcrush" others complain of either! (They do give the restraints a little release on arrival back to the brake run)
After skyrush - I rode comet, which is a nice little old woodie

I had time for coal cracker
http://www.thrillscore.com/RideDetail.php?RideId=593 , great bear
http://rcdb.com/468.htm, storm runner
http://rcdb.com/2498.htm (loved it on USlive and loved it now) and fahrenheit
http://rcdb.com/4049.htm (rather meh) before lunch - only queue had bizarrely been for comet (20 mins).
Lunch was the barbecue beef sandwich which I rather enjoyed last time round (not the same beef sandwich, just from the same stall!) - MMMMMMMMMM!
After lunch, I did laff trak
http://rcdb.com/12270.htm, which had an hour queue (I know, should have rushed straight to the new ride at the start of the day..) - Was disappointing compared to Maurer's other spinners.
I then had a couple of goes on wildcat
http://rcdb.com/100.htm and racer
http://rcdb.com/597.htm, neither of which was quite as good as I remembered
By then I was ready for some splash time in the water park(should have planned my locker strategy better - spent $15 on one near the entrance and another $15 for the waterpark lockers!) - (I wanted to try Moreys waterparks, but the timings didn't work out with the buses!) - spent about an hour in there. The lazy river left me nice and chilled.
Before getting the bus back, I rode the monorail and more skyrush!
Was surprisingly difficult finding a nice diner in harrisburg on the way back (how that place is the state capital, I don't know!)
Arrived back in new york at about 1am and headed straight for the hotel!
