Updated my overview map, taken things out that currently haven't appeared such as Theming B objects, Stilted Jetty, 6th Marmaliser leg, Plaza and replaced Theming element C with a games unit. Added arrows to show movement direction, numbered the inversions & colour coded sections of track with a key supplied.

Here it is:

Map is correct as of 8:30AM on 17th April 2013

Blue Peter were on site today, also they were allowed into the ride area!

Whats left to construct:

Testing now due on secret element with car. Before the first lift and after the barrel roll. Best way to say this is imagine a washing machine going round... Ok well that will be smiler whilst on the track. Also special effects if you can imagine optical illusion effect. New to this but hope that helps and i will be there on the 17th

Hmm, is it just me or does it look like the track may be complete and ready for testing by next weekend?

It's just you...

The track isn't complete...

^ I think what silenthillXD meant was that by the weekend the track will be complete. Tbh, I agree, there's not much track left to install so I'd say about Wed next week at the latest. I think there is still plenty to do before we see testing though.

First lift hill going in. Next piece is apparently imminent.

So bloody gutted they are taking the banners down today. Was using the already created peeking holes to have a look at what was going on yesterday! Nevermind though!

Yesterday there was a load of action on site.
- Station is going up like a rocket
- Transfer tracks and break run are all in
- There are no shipping containers in site - there is a queue line shop and what looks to be a games arcade (I could be wrong there though) that are built out of wood
- There was a lot of Merlin Studios/Alton management hovering around it
- Track inspections are being done
- They have started to pour cement down to start creating the pathways.

The 18th is looking really likely now! I'm very excited, the weekend is pencilled off work!

Have a Panorama from yesterday!

Nope, I just said there looks to be a queue line shop. Nothing about a queue line being ready.

As seen in the picture below, it's a little wooden box and looks too small to be anything else really, and is about the same size as other queue line shops. If it is a shop, then part of the queue will run under the mess of track before heading inside and into the station.

The only other thing it could be is a bag drop station.

There was evidence of pouring of cement to start pathways, but I doubt we'll see any sign of a queue line before the actual construction is finished.

Judging from the plans and the image, it'll be a shop in the queue line. The queue line runs under a majority of the track.

Its a queue line shop as you originally stated. It is not a baggage hold as it is still a fair distance (queuing-wise) away from the station.

I like how the Marmaliser legs kinda look like the track for the Smiler.

A bit like where the tentacles from Nemesis looks like its Track (yes, I know the tracks are its tentacles too in the narrative).

^or maybe not? By the sounds of things, this track section isn't slotting into place easily, so the plan is to move several supports...

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but does anybody know if the trains will duel on those pre-drops?
