Day 3 - 9th April
Thanks to Virgin this involved a rather early wake up. We got an invitation to...
ERT at Harry Potter!! So a taxi was taken at quarter past six in the morning...no shuttle buses at that time in the morning. It also meant we got to Universal before the sun had even come up...
For my 21st birthday, me and my Dad went to Florida for 12 nights just before Easter. We went on a package deal with Virgin (less hassle).
Day 1 - 7th April
Flew out from Manchester on a brand new plane. Shame it was 2 hours delayed because of technical difficulties. That was all we get told...
Jimmy Neutron was closed midweek while I was there but open at the weekends when it is busier. It suffers the fate of being one of the first rides as you walk into the park so attracts some long queues. I can see why they are replacing it as it is a bit of an old idea. Didn't make it any less...
I wish I could spend the whole day celebrating but my uni isn't shutting for Friday or Monday. So I have a lecture slap back in the middle of the wedding and then 5 hours of lectures on Monday. Oh joy!
Not got time to read the whole topic but was at Busch Gardens today. It looks really good at the moment. A lot of digging work going on around it. The random figure of 8 actually looks good if a bit random. It can be seen from quite a few different areas of the park and is pretty impressive to...
Park Street is such a cool station. It's really weird being able to cross the green line tracks underground. I was really impressed with Boston's MBTA. Really easy to navigate and use.
Nothing like hearing your boyfriend cackle down the phone to you when he discovers these photos. It's even better when you have to wait until you finish work to find out what exactly he was laughing about.
Even though me and Benin are three and a half hours away by train, we are the shortest LDR in my house. Another lives in London, one is in Norway and the other Spain. So sometimes it helps to put things into perspective.
Just really echoing what has been said.
It's hard, there are times when its incredibly lonely but I am helped out by the fact that in my house at uni four of us are in LDRs so it makes it a lot easier to deal with as you have someone to talk to about it who understands.
It takes commitment...
Two pancakes for me. My housemate's boyfriend made a huge pile of them for seven of us and then we had a mass eating session. It was nice to actually see my housemates for once.
*nods*
Did it during ERT when we were at Lightwater and after five times I could barely move. Give me Wild Mouse at Blackpool any day and that is saying something
All I remember about the Ultimate is pure pain. There is a certain limit where you don't enjoy being thrown around and the Ultimate sails straight past that limit.
Ah well, looks like all I am going to be able to do is look at this ride. I am there the month before it opens.
At least I can get some pictures and have a reason to go back to Tampa in the future.
Might cry a little when I look at it.
You only liked it because you got to pick up Prince Fluff (me) and throw me around.
It is so ridiculously cute and very random at the same time. Two player gets interesting when you both want to go in different directions though being carried to the other player is helpful in some situations...
