Looking at the track and cars I'm assuming this'll be another Intamin suspended family coaster?
Those Zierer towers are also always good fun, great additions.
Judging by some of these pics, this park seems to be one of those Zamperla package/showcase parks where like half of the rides and all new ones are Zamperla in which case it has to be significantly cheaper. For those parks if not anybody else, this must prove a cheaper alternative.
I was thinking, if it's a different coaster could they be doing like a dog fight theme? Since Junker is already themed to planes, that might explain the colour scheme.
Oh wow Zamperla actually figured out how to design restraints finally, good job
Now if they could figure out how to make rides that feel like anything then I'll be impressed
Eh, it's not much as a ride experience, although I'm sure it's more of a loss for locals of the park. I don't trust Särkänniemi to replace it with anything worthwhile, though, since it's Särkänniemi.
While I applaud the pettiness as a Finn, I just can't really get excited about this. This extension will cost the park almost as much as Taiga did for Linnanmäki so I'd have much rather waited a year or two more and then them to bust out with a Kärnan-esque Gerstlauer hyper coaster or something...
Taiga
Despite Linnanmäki being (practically) my home park, it took me until the 2nd to last day of the season (19.10) to visit this year and finally ride on Taiga. Unfortunately, I only got in one ride because the light carnival is a busy time and I wasn't about to abandon my friend for 45...
Not sure if this is a fair comparison but Linnanmäki, a park with half the visitor count of Chessington in the last decade has installed an enterprise, a small drop tower, a kiddie powered coaster, a Maurer Skyloop coaster, a brand new gosetto ghost train, a 75m gyro drop, 2 family flats and VR...
It would have to be Vonkaputous (rip) which was as at Linnanmäki in Finland. It got removed after constant downtime to make way for Taiga, but it was at the edge of the park and the splashdown directly bordered a public road/park so they installed a big ol plexiglass wall so if the splash itself...
