Busch Gardens Williamsburg | Pantheon | Intamin LSM Coaster

While Hagrid does also feature a swing launch sequence, remember that it has a block brake (the straight section right before the turn onto the launch track) in case of emergencies. Pantheon, however, does not have a block brake directly before its swing launch sequence in case of emergencies -...

Indiana Beach Closes alongside other Apex parks

@davidm already posted the Indiana Beach article, but Fantasy Island NY hasn't been discussed yet. I'm sad to see another CCI go, alongside the 3 that are being scrapped with Indiana Beach's closure.

Indiana Beach Closes alongside other Apex parks

That's so very sad. I'd heard great things about Hoosier Hurricane, Steel Hawg, Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain, Tig'rr Coaster and Cornball Express; the park itself reminded me of an upscale Family Kingdom, a park near and dear to me. On the topic of relocations, I could easily see Steel...

Busch Gardens Williamsburg | Pantheon | Intamin LSM Coaster

The rumored opening date is April; I would've expected Pantheon to be ready for Busch Gardens Williamsburg's opening day (late March) with its current progress in mind, however, it seems the park will need a bit longer to test it due to the rolling transfer track system.

Oh, I didn't see that @davidm - thank you for sharing a better quality and more official picture.

    Top 10(ish): 2020 Edition - page 96

OCT Thrust has always looked like a fascinating ride to me, so it's great to hear that it delivers! That "baby" ampersand helix at the end of OCT Thrust looks very interesting... how does it ride?

    Top 10(ish): 2020 Edition - page 96

I know you posted this a month ago, but your placement of OCT Thrust is interesting. I'm curious - what made you put it above all those other stellar coasters? I haven't heard much in the way of solid reviews of this - or any Chinese air launched coaster - for that matter.

Surveying Begins at SFMM...Possible Tidal Wave Removal?

Jersey Devil and Aquaman: Power Wave seem to both take up a very long but narrow footprint. I think that a Jersey Devil clone would make more sense for Six Flags Magic Mountain, as it would presumably have higher capacity than a PowerSplash (even with the turntable, it's 950 riders per hour). It...

    PowerPark | Unknown | Unknown

Still, though, I've heard a lot of praise about American Thunder despite its small stature! Actually... American Thunder is a clone of PowerPark's Thunderbird, not the other way around.

SFGAdv | Jersey Devil Coaster | RMC Raptor

If I recall correctly, the Raptors are so inexpensive due to the lack of supports needed. Plus, I'd presume the extremely small track and support sizes save on material costs as well. Adding my own thoughts to this topic, I feel that RMC designed the Raptor with small parks primarily in mind -...

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi

In my opinion, Iron Gwazi definitely has a more snappy and high-speed feel to it as opposed to Steel Vengeance; however, its short layout seems to die out after the stall. Perhaps if the second half was extended, possibly reusing the other supports on the outskirts of Gwazi for a series of small...

    Best B&M Flying Coaster?

I personally really enjoy B&M Flying coasters - I had an unpleasant experience on Superman at Six Flags Over Georgia in 2015, but after reriding it in December 2018, my opinion changed. It has quite an enjoyable layout, accentuated by the terrain integration. The pretzel loop feels just forceful...
