Pacing looks odd but I'm hoping it's one of those rides which rides better than it looks. Agreed it looks a bit short though. Excited to see the queueline and station theming.

The theming is looking fantastic. They did a great job of capturing the Star Trek/futuristic feel.

Its got to be finished now surely? I'm just waiting for anyone to say its open so i can head down there and ride it. I would of thought they would of opened it for the easter school break this week but i guess not

It won't be open for a good three or four weeks I don't think. Media day is in early May for it. Much to my dismay as we're at the park the last weekend of April.

It's not like I said this would happen, but:

By the looks of it, it's probably going to be around the end of June/ beginning of July. If not even later (first week of operation during GhosterForce, anyone?).

^ Well, they're running a competition to be the first riders of it and the competition ends on 10th May, not to mention the press event being around that time, so I think you're going a bit OTT by saying end of June/July...

Mack have now officially handed the ride over to the park. Sounds like soft opening should be occurring soon before the official launch in May.

I am actually looking forward to seeing this ride in motion! Turns out a Mack launched is a very fitting type of coaster for this theme.

They'll still **** around with it for another few weeks yet.

When we visited a couple of weeks back, the main pathways and plaza area didn't look even remotely close to ready. Those pics seem to suggest that they're finishing up the buildings now, but I'd suggest there's still a fair bit to do before the area will be complete.

I'm here at the end of June, didn't think I'd have to worry about this opening, but this thread if throwing some doubt in my mind now...

I've never watched Star Trek before, but the theming does look pretty nice. Hopefully it 'feels' right in person.

I don't watch Star Trek but these buildings look atrociously cheap. The one on the right the looks like a Disney world monorail train. Shame becasue I've liked evenrything else I've seen
