Netflix is a big, steamy pile of faeces.

To be honest, shows about theme parks/coasters aren't usually popular enough to be featured on those kind of on demand services. Your best bet is probably youtube, but be prepared for bad quality videos split into multiple parts!

^I randomly came across this just as it was starting last night. Was quite interesting. It was made in 1998 by the looks of it and they actually visited a lot of parks across America. It was cool seeing at least one place that I visited in June on there. Was weird seeing Lake Compounce without Boulder Dash and the water park. What made me laugh was that Lake Compounce call themselves a theme park because they have a row of themed buildings at the entrance, that place is such a joke.

Andre Rieu - In Wonderland
Sky Arts 2 - 8:50am 31st December

This is essentially a classical music concert, but held in the open air at Efteling. However, in classic Efteling style, it would appear that, at times, the action spills out into the rest of the park. To really keep on theme, all of the music is related to fairy tales/classic stories/films.

Sky Arts said:
Sometimes what we need the most is to be transferred to a fairy-tale world, far away from the mundanity of our everyday lives. André Rieu's In Wonderland concert does precisely this for us.

The journey begins with the thrilling music of Thus Spake Zarathustra and unravels to that of Swan Lake, Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella and many other fairy-tale songs. Dance along with elves, fairies, André Rieu and anything else that suits your fancies, all in one of the world's most fascinating theme parks, Efteling, in the Netherlands.

If you can't wait until New Years Eve, it is available as a DVD! haha! http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/27321651/-/Product.html

You may also enjoy having a look at this wonderfully bizarre guided walk round the park through the sights from the film - http://www.andrerieu-movies.com/walks/W ... ndWalk.pdf

Not TV shows as such, but films made in Disney parks here. Essentially, Disney fan-pron ;)

First a short film about two people who go missing in Haunted Mansion:

Then, if you can find somewhere that shows it... At the Sundance film festival this year, there was a "feature film" shot almost entirely on location at Disney parks without Disney's knowledge. They used digital SLR cameras and hidden recording devices. The shoots were planned for specific times of day and the year so that they could do shots without artificial lights. Very cool project indeed.

Obviously, there are major issues releasing the film, as they don't have any of the right permissions, but if you know about it, you may be able to find a version of it kicking around somewhere. Peep may be interested and may have a way?

Ooo, that film sounds interesting. No idea how I'd find a copy/screening though but I shall keep my eyes peeled.

It's a repeat from a couple of years ago, but right now on BBC4 is 'All the Fun of the Fair: A History of the British Fairground'.

Seems quite interesting if you've never seen it before.

Not a TV program but a making of a TV ad for Porshe which was filmed on Efteling's Pyhton rollercoaster.

Probably the coolest thing I've seen. Didn't they do something like this at Blackpool too?

Occasionally on the Chicago affiliate of PBS (WTTW), there may be either a full documentary on Riverview Park. It may also be featured in the numerous Chicago history documentaries as well.

When I was a kid my parents had a VHS from Knott's Berry Farm that was all about the park and included footage from the (then) main rides, including the Corkscrew, which I believe was replaced by Boomerang by the time our family went there when I was 9 (1995). I think the VHS is still at my mum's house! I used to watch it over and over before I'd ever been on a coaster.

It's rather fun actually :) Features clips from Nemesis, the Big One and Mean Streak among others. John Wardley is one of the persons being interviewed. For those of you who haven't already seen it; enjoy!
