The brakes look like they start really far up, but either way this tower will be something special.

Yep, it's a pre brake section, that will give the seats enough time to flip back before it hits the main brakes.
Hopefully the face down drop will make up for the short free fall (it most likely will).

They look quite constrictive which is a bit of a shame, was hoping for a little less support in a way, feel more unprotected, but I suppose the seats will be tilting so slightly more than a usual drop tower

I think the restraints look good! They look comfortable.

If they are anything like Skyrush when you hit the brakes they are going to pinch the **** out of whatever it is laying on.

That being said from those pics they don't look like they will be that bad.
