World's tallest slide for ArcelorMittal Orbit

Also not sure, if it will happen but if it does, it will be fantastic and would save the tower just be left to rot as it most likely would be otherwise.
 
Sounds like a lot of friction burns to me.

Especially if it's anything like the ten storey slide in the City Museum <//3
 
I'd love to ride it but not at 17 **** pounds a pop! The whole Orbit thing is a goddamn ripoff, it costs £12 just to go up. Am I just a cheapskate or is that not unreasonable?
 
Well, £5 for a slide and £12 to go up the Otbit.

I actually don't think it's that ludicrous considering some carnival Helter Skelters are like £3.
 
Considering you get the tower AND the slide, I don't think it's bad at all. It's clever though, because you can't do the slide without the tower, but still, I like it.

Yeah it's gonna have parts that level out to reduce the speed and also give you a chance to look at the view.
