Hey guys
My most recent jaunt through the Chinese interweb has dug up what may be that yellow B&M track that vanished from the factory

IOA rip off logo?

There is a brand new park called Global Digital Carnival Valley (google translation) or maybe World Joyland (logo) which is set to open next year and is set to feature a B&M Flier and a Maurer X-car.

A guy from MAURER Söhne signs the deal for the X-Car

Sophie Bolliger (walters seemingly very attractive sister) signs the deal for the B&M Flier.

Translated Stats for Flier

Under the contract, B & M will combine the global digital game carnival Valley's unique culture and philosophy, for the first tailor-create all of Asia's longest, highest, fastest flying roller coaster, which tracks up to 855 meters, high-altitude diving up to 40 meters a speed as fast as 88 kilometers. 除此之外,此款飞行过山车还首创设有4个翻转和3个半翻转的高空刺激体验,是全球运动元素最多的一款飞行过山车。 Apart from that this section's first flying roller coaster is also equipped with four flip, and three and a half flip to stimulate high-altitude experience, is the largest element of a global campaign flying roller coaster.

More as i find it

Whoa that looks awesome, let's hope the concept art in the picture you posted will be as good as the real thing. Such beautiful mountains surrounding it, too. Theming looks very niceeee.

^^^ That blue one looks like the M&S x-car they talk about, something like HRRR, since you can see a non-inverting loop...

Come to think about it... a non-inverting loop would be an awesome element on a Flyer.

Other than that, I actually doubt we'll hear more from this park until we see it finished and open one day. We need a China correspondent now.

Wow, what a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. If they pull off something like what is in the artwork this park should be pretty good.

I love the idea of the press conference style signings for the two new coasters.

If this park really looks like what it does in the concept art, I so want to go to China.

And I now have a new way to get into B&M, marry into the Bolliger family somehow... maybe Sophie has a daughter?

By the way, I don't think that this is the destination of the Yellow track...

The profile on the track-spine connectors of the yellow track don't fit the profile of a flying coaster, also this signing is way to recent that B&M already have produced the track for the park...

Just my 2 öre.

^Beat me to it.

There's more than one B&M still headed to China.
(They haven't been able to copy them yet, need more samples.)

fair enough.

That means i still have to find that damn thing :p and we don't even know its going to China.

RCDB has a page for this now:

First, there's a Maurer X-Car. Just a standard sky loop, but this is the first in China anyways.

There's a coaster listed with 2 lifts, which I can only assume to be the standard mine train thing we've been seeing at Happy Valley and the like.

The really interesting one is a custom B&M Flying Coaster. The inversion order is an inline twist, a loop, and a double corkscrew. Assuming this is correct, we have a world's first on a B&M flyer. It will be interesting to see if B&M does it like Vekoma did or if they have another idea for it. The 2nd is a double corkscrew, which has yet to be done on a B&M. Unless it's a mistake for interlocking corkscrews, which would still be pretty odd on a flying coaster. This has suddenly become one of the most interesting coasters of 2010 for me...

I wasn't referring to the corkscrews as a major world's first, but having them back to back is a world's first regardless. But yeah, I talking about the loop. It's listed as such on rcdb, which is why I was wondering if it's a mistake or not. I just want to see a layout.

A loop on a flyer? Seems to me that there are three ways of doing a "conventional" loop on such coasters:

1: Do it like the Inverts do. Only thing is, massive stress on the cars, seeing as the seats aren't fixed to the chassis in the same way as on an Invert. Also, the passengers will have trouble breathing if they are facing down through a conventional loop. In short, a no (I made a topic on this some time ago, and this was what I was told)

2: Do it like the Flying Dutchmen. Not a world's first, though.

3: Treble Clef. I think MS have patented this, but it would be an awesome experience on a Flyer. Starting backs down like on the Dutchmen, but twisting over to face up in the ascent, and back in the descent.

Either way, this will be cool. Looking forward to see what China will give us in the coming years...

Regarding the yellow B&M track, is there a chance it could be Chang?

I don't know what shade of yellow, when it was spotted, where the factory is or anything (so don't shoot me down!). But, I know that Chang has been completely removed from SFKK now and the rumours said that it was going to be 'in storage' for a while for some sort of work.

Perhaps it went back to the factory for some reason?

Again, I haven't been following, just a suggestion...

I believe you're right with that. The yellow track pics showed up before Chang came down. And the time between the ride coming down and showing up at Great America was pretty quick-- a bit too fast to get to the factory. I think that track has a better chance as showing up in China or something.

Duane e-mailed me from IAAPA the other day. He got the track layout for the Chinese Flyer straight from Walter Bolliger. I'd say that's a fairly reliable source...

As far as I know, the only patent MS has applied for is the Non-inverting loop.
Sorry, my bad, then. I don't know what the non-inverting loop is called, but I've seen the name "treble clef" somewhere regarding HRRRs elements, and assumed that it referred to the loop. What I meant was the non-verting loop, HRRR-style, but it seems like this is impossible on a B&M Flyer due to the patent.

Thanks for clearing up the other stuff too!
