WHy did KD remove Hypersonic XLC?

Having a little browse on rcdb I found that this coaster was removed, after only operating for 5 years. My question is why? It's such a rare thing for a park to invest such a substantial amount of money in a coaster, only to close the thing 5 years later. Weird.

The Jap S&S has an awesome launch, and the rest is pretty bumpy. It also has the most painful moment of airtime ever.
