Where did Black Hole go?

Remember black hole at Alton. It closed in like 2004 and it was the first ride that I had ridden that had closed. Since then I have always wanted to know where it had gone or whether it was just scrapped. Can someone tell me?

It went back to the manufacturer, who spruced it up, reprinted it, made it H&S compatible and put it up for sale- no
Idea if it was purchased though.

There are pictures out there but I'm at work on my iPhone so can't find them atm. The track is red now if i'm not mistaken.

After it went to Gerstlauer for a complete overhaul it was sold to Furuvik (a park in Sweden about 2 hours north of Stockholm. Where it opened last season as Rocket.
