What's your favourite Alton Towers ride?

^Same, and I love the feeling on the drop on oblivion. The way you feel that you lift out of the seat, and you feel that for the whole drop. Also, it's nice to see someone who doesn't hate Th13teen

Indeed!

It's nothing amazing. But I really liked the drop, and the indoor section. I quite like the themeing too.

Hmm? I think that all of the top rides at AT are on their own a fantastic ride experience. For me personally I find it hard to choose between at least 4 of the rides.

Air -Never fails to take my breath away despite the fact it is lacking in the theming department (which is an argument for another thread) it still feels fantastic my favourite part being the final curve that runs along the car park but I find parts of the ride a little shaky and it seems to rattle a lot which can be uncomfortable.

Oblivion - The climb to the top never fails to scare the living **** out of me.

Th13teen - Yes it not everyone favourite but it has charm and is in essence a good ride. Whilst the outdoor section leaves a little bit to be desired sitting on the back row pulls some airtime and it feels good. What the ride should have been like. The indoor section is fun too and still catches people out to my amusement.

Nemesis - Takes pride of place at the top a truly amazing ride that never fails to impress. Everything is perfect about the ride and it is no wonder it is still one of the best in the world.

... But my personal favourite? Well you can't beat a bit of Von Roll. Whoring the Monorail is a win!

Oblivion has special memories for me, so I'm going to go for that. It's way too short though and I do prefer Sheikra at Busch Gardens.

I keep on fluctuating between Nemesis and Oblivion. There's more substance to Nemesis, from the entire presentation to a stunning first half of a coaster. I know it dies after the "over the station zero-g", but I'm usually in such a great mood from the ride that I don't care too much

Oblivion is just too short, but it's a perfect blast of thrill. I just adore the drop, it's really like nothing else, such a shame it ends there, but... If there was more, it would probably dilute the feeling from the drop and make it a weaker overall ride.

So the two always swap places for me, simply because both are flawed, but enjoyable rides.

same as me, but I think another lift hill after the brake run on oblivion would be amazing!
