What are your current Roller Coaster Goals?

Re: What is your current Roller Coaster Goals?

The last two years have been horrible for me coaster enthusiast wise, gotten around 7 new credits... I'm still around 128-130 credits (haven't counted in a while). This year I want to do Gröna Lund, seeing as I still haven't ridden Twister and other than that I don't have any big plans. Nor have I set any other milestones for myself seeing as I can't see myself hitting 200 anytime soon, unless I'd go to the States, which will hopefully happen within 2 years from now.

Re: What is your current Roller Coaster Goals?

I don't think I'm going to quite make it to 300 this year, but I guess I'll have to settle for surpassing 290, including the new stuff I'm doing on the Live, Leviathan, and X Flight.

To get both X-Flight and Wild Eagle. As well as hit up Kings Island on the way down to College in August.

To finally ride every wooden coaster in the UK... So, that's August sorted then :)

^ Take it you haven't been on the GYPB Woody? Make sure you get the back seat when you get on it. Surprising amount of air time at the back.

Yep, it's the only one I'm missing, which I've always been a little sad about. I stayed close to Yarmouth many years ago, spent a couple of long weekends down there with an ex and we drove to Yarmouth and she said "oh, it's rubbish, not worth going on", so we went and looked at a nuclear power station instead*

So I missed the opportunity unfortunately. I also missed Texas Tornado and the water chute at Coney Beach which would have rounded up all the wooden coasters that ran while I was tall enough to ride them. I came so close to getting to Morecambe too, but sense prevailed at the last minute ;)

*I don't have anything against nuclear power stations as such, it's just that while the might of atom splitting is impressive, it's really just huge bits of concrete and flashing control panels and not a reason to miss out on a coaster ;)

Does that mean you've already done Tyrolean Tubtwist? Or are you going with the theory that it's more like a river rapids without the water than a coaster? :p

To visit every major park on the planet. :p

On the more serious side - I really want to make a major trip to the Far East, but that going to have to wait until next year.
For now I'll settle on hitting up as many parks in the USA as possible & riding every new coaster over here this year.

Would love to get over to the USA and finally get to the parks I want to visit.

Also want to go to Japan and china.

I don't count it, for many complex reasons ;)

^ It's on the same trip anyway so you'll be fine. I'll not be far away myself one I steal a child to enter Gullivers

I'm just glad I got Southport Cyclone, King Solomon's Mines, Vikingar (and also when it was Water Chute at Belle Vue, the Water Chute at Rhyl and the Scenic at Margate (though obviously they will reopen that).

I'll let you know (if I can) when I'm heading to Gullivers next and you can join us at the entrance to gain access to the ride :)

I've been on The Swarm at Thorpe Park 75 times now. Aiming for 100 by the summer.
I know it's not a coaster but ive ridden Atlantis at Legoland Windsor 156 times :) it was at 150 at the end of 2011

Um, well I would say I wanna hit 300 but I already know I will get far beyond that. After the American trip I should have about 315 or so, so I guess I'll aim a bit higher and say I'd like to hit at least 340-350 this season. I'm really trying to plan my own trip to either California or Florida, but I'm kinda dumb when it comes to doing my own trip planning so I guess I'll have to see how it all pans out :p .

^Just head out west with me this summer & you'll hit 500.

Ride what I want, meet new and fun people, have an experience I'll remember and never forget.

Not really any credit goals. Hell, when I went to Kings Dominion, we skipped about half the coasters simply to enjoy the day.

Sent while out and about

Getting to theme parks has kind of slowed with uni, but I'm going to PortAventura in summer which should be good. I'd love to reach 150 this year and hopefully get to America next year.

Need the deets first! Not sure if I could get the time off work, I've already been bitched at because I booked off two weekends for the Live. :p 500 would be amazing though!

Don't worry, I fully understand. I had to be away from CF for a solid 4 years with college, and even now it is hard to keep up due to my work out here in California.

Go to some parks i am dying to go to (Cedar Point, Busch Gardens Williamsburg etc.) and hopefully get to 100 and see what happens after that.
