War amputee killed in fall from Ride of Steel

I feel confident that Darien can get over this. If they make the same modifcations that were made to the then SRoS in SFNE after their accident then the ride could be safe again. In SFNE's case the rider did have legs but was large around the middle instead. The ride doesnt need to be changed to OTSRs, I dont know why all new Intamin coasters have to have them. All it needs is the addition of the side bars and the seat belt for the lap bars, as well as maybe some internal changes. I would also think that the handicapped rider rules should have some additional parameters set in. Maybe not allow anyone to ride if they dont have less than 2 fully working legs, or something along those lines.

A woman with no legs and only one arm (called Mars Barrell, don't laugh) has been denied access to rides at Movie World in Australia. She's complaining and doesn't see why an amputee in the US being killed on a ride should affect her ability to ride...
