Walibi Holland | YoY | RMC Raptor | 2025

How do we think people will be able to get to the ride? I hope all of these dead ends connect to the ride.

Update: found a slightly less cropped image. Looks like the Goliath plaza is going to be the only way to access this ride??? There is no clearings for the Condor & Rapids dead ends. This is extremely confusing - why not just connect the dead ends when they're RIGHT THERE?

And also - if the Goliath plaza is the only way to enter the ride, why is the ride entrance in the lower right corner directly facing that would-be Rapids path?

Glad you mentioned it, I was looking at it yesterday and yeah... that path access is absolutely baffling. It LOOKS like they've converted the service road surrounding YoY into actual guest pathways so you can walk entirely around the ride (and connects to the (food?) building on the lake), but that's inexcusable if the whole 'YoY loop' path is ONLY accessible through the Goliath plaza. It 100% needs a connection from beside Condor, or from the rapids.

An interesting excerpt from Carnival Warehouse, with Gibtown show underway and Larson/RMC displaying flat rides. The coasters were brought up, forgive the American viewpoints and spelling;
RMC has a new coaster coming out in March in Holland for Wallaby Park. The coaster will have competing trains. One, a “chill” version, has no inversions, while the “thrill” version has 6 inversions. The ride has one feature where the ride trains come towards each other at high speeds before veering off, avoiding collision. This maneuver is not allowed in the U. S,. but the Holland company specifically asked for the feature. There is also a Top Gun maneuver where the trains sit atop one another upside down like the Top Gun movie.

That bolded bit about “the ride trains coming towards each other” just sounds like the post-tunnel section on Stampida to me rather than anything overly unique.

Or perhaps a better comparison would be Dragon Challenge, which is why it surprises me that that element allegedly “isn’t allowed in the US”.

Am I missing something here?

Id assume it's because of what happened with Dueling Dragons and the multiple incidents of idiots throwing coins at the other train.

Which is also why the Epic Universe duelers have huge barriers up between the tracks on their head on flyby

While I haven't explicitly heard that particular maneuver is banned I wouldn't be surprised if it's now got some many safety regulations required that it's near impossible
