Walibi Belgium Flooded!

The past week Belgium suffered many rain. Many villages got waterdamage, streets got flooded. Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant suffered the most damage, so also Walibi Belgium got hit by many rain. The half of the park has run under water. The park already announced that there is not to many damage...luckily!

I bet parks crap themselves when things like this happen, I can't imagine some of the damage floodwaters can do, given the chance.

Nor can I imagine the cost it would take to rectify. Glad WB hasn't been that badly affected, probably just be closed for a couple of days.
 
Ah, that can't be good. Is the park closed for the rest of the year yet anyway or was it due to open over the next few months? If it wasn't open or due to open at least they have time to rectify the damage before next season. If they were due to open though, well I'm guessing the managers are freaking out.
 
Well ****.. I hope it doesn't wind up like SFNO, but I don't think the owning company would let that happen.
 
It's a good thing that the park is closed now till April 2011. What I do fear is the fact that they are now re-building the Aqualibi waterpark and it has to open in the beginning of next year.

I don't know about that.... way I see it, they got a much larger one for FREE! :P
