Views That Take Your Breath Away

How has no one mentioned Tibidabo yet? It's on the top of a mountain that overlooks Barcelona!

The mine train at Ocean Park is way up there for great views, as is the top of the lift of G5

TTD and Millennium for reasons stated above, and other rides at CP like Power Tower, Windseeker, and the space needle tower thing.

Bizarro atop the lift hill

This doesn't really show it at all, but, the views from Knight Valley out over the bay are nice.

And second Ocean Park and Tibidabo.

As for the rides I have never been on. I feel like this would have one of the best views.

Jubilee Odyssey is fantastic. You get this stunning view across the caravan site and pikeys - gorgeous

Rode American Eagle (SFGAm) at 9pm on the 4th of July a couple years ago. You could see all of the surrounding cities firework displays.

*Wild Eagle's view of the Smokies, easily. And while it may be the weaker of the two sides, the right also gives you a great view of the coaster side of Dollywood.

*Top Thrill Dragster has the best view at Cedar Point, even for just a bit.

*Power Tower at sunset is beautiful too if you face out towards Maverick/Mean Streak.

*On Intimidator you can see Charlotte's skyline as well as a lot of the surrounding Carolina countryside.

*Turn your head on Milennium Force at night and the front of the park is absolutely stunning. I rode it during a harvest moon and it was absolutely gorgeous.

*The Beast's second lift at night gives you a great view of the twinkling lights of Eiffel Tower.

*And I hate to fanboy a over Cedar Point like this, but ride GateKeeper on the left and turn your head out to the lake. That's a great view, especially in the morning when it's still foggy.
