I wish they would leave more tree cover around the ride It should still be a nice location. Really hoping that this ends up being Intamin or Vekoma.
I don't know if I'm seeing the same thing as you but Lynet looks absolutely nothing like what this will be, in any way whatsoever besides the fact it has LSMs.Why is the layout so short and bad ? If they really build it like that, it would be a waste of land AND MONEY. It sure does look like your standard Launch coaster 540 Gerstlauer coaster.
At least it's an upgrade from the very old kid coaster Dragen hah !
I'll take your word for it.well this is the 540 model and it looks like a custom stripped down version of it.

the 600 version is a lot different

Because bigger coasters are more expensive, and the chain that owns TusenFryd really dislikes anything expensive. There's a reason why TusenFryd hasn't got a proper coaster since 2006, or why they had to run a stunt show on a parking lot as a headliner attraction the past four years in a row. The money the park makes is mostly sent away to enrich shareholders, while very little is allowed to be kept for maintenance and new investments. Why is the layout so short and bad ? I thought it was implied clearly enough in the last sentence.A post where @Pokemaniac doesn't mention Parques Reunidos? You feeling okay?
That awkward moment where my planning of when to travel internationally vs. having a kid can be impacted by one roller coaster. ? Was hoping to make a swing out to Tusenfryd next year to as part of a broader Scandinavian trip; that is assuming I can even make a trip to Europe next year.Minor bump.
A source at TusenFryd told me the coaster has been pushed back to 2022. Pictures he showed me showed no visible change from what @per2012 posted above. I've updated the thread title accordingly.
Given the Covid situation, I guess it's understandable. Still, it means another year of wear and tear without renewal at the park. There's still a lot of stuff from the opening year of 1988 left in the park, and it's not getting any younger.
In minor news, one of the slides at the park's small waterpark area has been demolished. Apparently it was due to failing safety inspections. I guess there could be a replacement in the works, but with this park it's hard to tell.
