Tokyo Disneyland | Space Mountain (rebuild) | Unknown | 2027?

For a ride that is at least 18 months away from opening, they seem to be making very swift progress on this! Presumably there is a lot to fit ant test internally, but it's looking like it'll be complete in the time it took MK to build Tron's awning.

It's going to be a hell of an upgrade - the building looks super funky.

It was feeling rather dated when I rode it back in 2024, so hopefully it will really bring it into the 31st century.

I'm in Japan soon for work, i've already got tickets to USJ as have a day off in Osaka but one of my colleagues has suggested we get Evening Tickets to Disney.

First question is, if we do this which park should we visit? I'm thinking Disney Sea because it's the more unique option.

Second question is with all the horror stories i've seen of these parks, is this going to be a miserable experience? It's going to be 35C, are we basically going to be having a viewing experience of the park and at best 1 ride? I'm fine to pay for Fast Passes but doesn't seem like that's an option in this scenario. I'm looking at now as an example where it's 4pm and the main attractions are all on 2-3 hour queues.

Crowd Calendar says the park is at 50% too 😭
