Things that take you back..

Any time I see Rita it always reminds me of Hoyers video from a few years with the great trance song he used.

That song was awesome! I remember playing that video over and over again just for the music.

Bryan Adams - The Summer of '69 kind of reminds me of Blackpool. One summer I just had that song in my head constantly and when I went to Blackpool they played it and I was like AHH! But Hey Baby by DJ Otzo or whoever covered it always reminds me of the first time we went to Blackpool. It had just come out and all we heard after the sun went down was drunks singing it loudly. God I hate that song!

A lot of songs remind me of going to Alton Towers because they got played in the car on the way there, such as Biffy Clyro - Puzzle and some Foo Fighers. Queen - Having A Good Time reminds me of Rita. The first time I heard that was in the queue and I thought it was like brainwashing. YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME.

The music that Dragster plays constantly when it leaves the station, obviously that reminds me of Dragster.

There's bound to be some others. When I think of some more I'll bang 'em down.

EDIT: I just thought of another! The song from Cars (Rascal Flats?) reminds me of Cedar Point as well because they played it for a nightime show they had the summer I went. That song seemed to be everywhere in America that trip. It just makes me feel like I'm off back on holiday which is cool, but gutting when you're not going anywhere.

How could you not mention Def Leppard and Blackpool? Silly boy.

80's music and Rita, yes. How strange that it's not gonna be there anymore.. (unless they keep it, in which case I might cry).

That French Christmas song reminds me of Disneyland Paris at Christmas because I thought it was a song Disney made up until about a month ago.

Pink elephants on parade reminds me of running around DCA at halloween getting "candy".

And "Still of the Night" by "Whitesnake" reminds me of driving around Florida, if that really counts.

I've got several songs by Australian bands which for some reason remind me of going to Alton Towers. In fact I made sure I put particular tunes on my iPod especially for when I go there! :D

The music from the front gates of Thorpe Park, that is the nicest feeling ever.
