What's new

The perfect beer every time

Yeah, that obviously won't replace normal pumps in pubs, but, at events, that's freaking AWESOME. I'll keep an eye out at the... one... major event I'll probably go to this year xD

Taylor it's obvious. And even if you don't get it then it's been explained a few times in this topic anyway lol.

The disks at the bottom are magnetic. So that keeps it in place. That and the weight of the beer keeps it down. :p

Hope that helps.

What about when the glass is nearly empty? :p

Dave's pictures say it all really Taylor, it's not a particualrly difficult concept to grasp. The magnetic ring just hold the disk onto the bottom of the cup (covering the hole). When the cup is placed on the filler it forces the disk off the hole, fills through the gap, then as its removed the magnets line back up and seal the cup up again. I'd assume there's some sort of rubber sucker type thing to keep the disk over the hole as the beer fills too, all that turbulence would knock the disk off if it was just supported normally.

Actually that's a magnet too.

Nah Hixee. It's all about the belt bottle opener. :p
That way you always have one on you as it's your belt buckle lol.

So that when you open it, and it splashes, it looks like you've pissed yoursellf?

Alternatively, you wear the belt regularly for 4 years, and don't realise that the pretty shaped hole in the back actually has a purpose until a kind, clever and sensible lesbian points it out to you whilst scratching about in a travelodge looking for a way to open your beer... *cough*Ian*cough*

I was wondering if anyone was going to comment on that. It's also frowned upon over here, but there is no law forbidding it.

It does look like a fantastic creation, to be totally honest though, it takes all the fun out of pouring a pint. I don't know if any other users work in a bar, but I do, I like it too, it's great to have a chat to customers and flick beer all over your work colleagues lol.

I was amazed when we got a Guinness Surger before, when it comes to products like this, the General Public int eh UK go MAD. When we got our Surger, our customers went absolutely ape **** that we wasn't "pouring it", no matter how much we told them it was cleaner, easier, quicker, they just didn't care. I'd be sceptical about getting them int eh UK. Festivals would be amazing with them/
