Stormforce 10 Seating

Mega Poster
In the final part of the queue for Stormforce 10 at Drayton Manor, there are chalk boards saying where riders have to sit.

If I remember correctly, it's two kids in the front row then two adults behind them, then two children then two adults.
Or
An adult and child on each row.

Why are there guidelines for the seating?

The only reason I can think of is so that the weight is evenly distributed throughout the boat so it won't ground?

Depends how many people you have if there is four of you two have to sit in the 2nd row and then the other two on the back row.
So in other words they always seem to fill up 2nd and back row first so it's even weight

To be honest, I think it is just about weight distribution, nothing more. It also may have something to do with the splash down at the end too? More weight at the front, bigger wave, wetter riders? Possible?

I think this has to do with safety, not wetness. Maybe because of the boat's design, the only way to even the weight is with this seating.
