So me, Rach, Peter and Richard (Stone Cold) embarked on trip around Slovakia, Hungary & Slovakia in September in the hunt for creds and culture (It was all about the creds for me, my idea of culture is an all inclusive trip to Benidorm).
Day 1
So it all started at 12:00 on Friday the 26th, I grabbed my suitcase, 20 Sovereign, 2 double cheeseburgers and a can of relentless and set off on my 120 mile trip from Banbury to Cambridge.
I arrived at 3pm (Burdenous traffic) and picked up the goons...
Once we arrived at Stansted Airport we dumped the car, jumped on the shuttle and went straight through security (All in 15 minutes). We spent about an hour or so in the Wetherspoons until our flight was showing and then headed off to the gate, where we were hounded straight away by the fab/vile (delete as applicable) crew trying to sell us priority boarding, yup, we were flying Ryanair. It was soon time to board the aircraft..
Within minutes we were taxiing for the runway, and as we approached take-off a group of Slovakian students raised their hands in anticipation, prompting Richard to shout "IT'S NOT A CRED!!" ensuring the whole plane could hear in the process
Anyways, 2 hours later we were in Slovakia, the airport was fab, the hotel amazing, and suddenly my preconceptions that Slovakia was going to be a **** were complete false, until we ventured out into Bratislava, then you realise the true state of the country...
(It really is VILE).
Now moving swiftly onto the Saturday Day 2, we left Slovakia and headed onto Hugary for creds. Yup, Vidampark, and it was a complete...
The whole park was disgusting! all the buildings inside were boarded up, the rides were just dumped wherever with no theming, none of the rides or coasters had queue lines so the queue's spill into the pathways. The only saving grace for the park is the fab 1930's brakeman woodie, me and Richard whored this beauty most of the afternoon whilst Peter and Rach headed off to the Turkish baths. Vidampark = **** (+3).
In the evening we headed off for food and culture, and then to the pub, me and Richard stayed and had a few jars whilst Peter and Rach headed off back to the hotel to
Day 3
On the Sunday we left Hungary and headed off to Austria. First stop, Familypark, and it was
BEAUTIFUL!
I actually loved this park, think Tripsdrill but even better, It had everything that makes a park for me, creds, thrills & lols, a perfect CF park!
So the creds, It has a Mack Youngstar coaster similar to Pegasus at EP but better, in both ride quality and theming, a butterfly (no more to be said) and their new for 2013 coaster Rattenmuhle, I was expecting a bog standard Gertslauer bobsled, but then I rode it, And quite frankly it was
It was amazing! I do love a good family coaster but this takes the biscuit, the theming, the ride layout, the AIRTIME! <3 it's actually made my top 10.
After a fab few hours at Familypark it was off to Bohmischer Prater +1, and then to Wiener Prater.
Weiner Prater was the only park I'd actually heard of before the trip, I had the expectation of it being a giant
And it turned out to be...
Nothing lost here, but +9 gained.
At this point it was getting late so me and Richard headed to the pub to get steaming, Rach and Peter went back to the hotel to
Me and Richard stumbled back to the hotel room we were sharing with Rach and Peter about 2am, luckily we found our way to the right beds to avoid

Day 4
We spent the Monday back in Bratislava, doing cultural stuff and visiting crap zoo's etc, I loaded up on cheap fags
And then we flew back to the UK. The End.
Rach and Peter did actually take some decent pictures of the trip, I'm sure they will be so kind as to upload a few, or link you to their FB albums.
