Six Flags St Louis or Worlds of Fun?

I am going to Missouri this summer and after SDC I want to either WOF or SFSL. While I have been to SFSL, I haven't been in about 4 years and don't remember most of it. I didn't go on most of the rides so the credits are about even. Which is better?
 
Worlds of Fun is a nice park, with a couple of decent rides (Patriot and Prowler) and a load of medicore to crap stuff after that.

There's a lot more to do at Six Flags Saint Louis though, with more than just two rides being of the "very good" variety.
 
Prowler=American Thunder
Patriot=Batman

(ok not really, but in vague terms).

St Louis is a better park (more stuff), but Worlds of Fun is still fun enough. If I had to choose one I'd go to St Louis, but I wouldn't complain about going to Worlds of Fun either.
 
If youre in Missouri.. just drive to Silver Dollar City. Better then both parks by a thousand miles.

I have to first ask, what part of Missouri are you going to be in? WoF and SFSL are on either border of Missouri (quite literally).

Worlds of Fun is pretty good - I actually rode every roller coaster there in 1 hour during my visit, leaving plenty of time for rerides of Prowler and Patriot. Would I visit again? Probably.

SFSL appears to be the bigger park, but again has a few good rides with lesser to follow.
 
I'm going to Silver Dollar City AND either WOF or SFSL. I have been to Six Flags but it has been a while. I have 4 credits left at Six Flags and 7 at WOF. I am looking for fun more than credits :--D .
 
In that case, WoF. I loved Prowler and Patriot was fantastic as well. The rest is boatloads of meh, but those two rides alone are better then anything at SFStl.
 
Just be sure to ride Cyclone Sams!

Well in that case sounds like WoF is where it's at :P ! How is Mamba? I have just heard so many different things but it looks and sound terrible.
 
It's meh. It's really nothing special but it's far from awful. It just isn't that exciting. Timberwolf is garbage though.
 
Yes. Prowler is in my top 5 and Patriot is just outside my top ten. It's easily the second best invert I've been on, only behind the Batman clones. Those two at any other park would be called must gets, but since WoF is pretty small, they tend to get missed. The zero-g on Patriot is perfection.
 
I had a bizarrely brilliant ride on Timber Wolf, riding in the very back of an empty train. For some reason the airtime and drops worked out for a smooth ride!

Mamba was ok - on par with the other Morgan hyper that I have ridden (Steel Force). I still prefer good old Magnum.

Are two roller coasters worth the drive from Branson? No. But the entire park experience I would say as a whole is worth the visit. And seriously - ride Cyclone Sams!
 
I was in the same exact situation. It was tough choice, but I chose WoF because Prowler and Patriot looking so awesome. :) Their selection is very similar: Patriot=Batman, Spinning Dragons=Pandemonium, Prowler=American Thunder, Timber Wolf=Boss, and Boomerang=Boomerang.

If you want somthing to keep you busy, do SFSTL, but if you want 2 or 3 awesome coasters with a few good flats, do WoF.

Can't wait til' October. :D
 
I wish I could do both, but then again where has wishing got anyone. I think WoF for the same reason as Jason. Patriot and Prowler look great. I might be going to SFoT also so I will ride Mr Freeze and Batman there. I am probably going to SFoG because it is my closest park, 5 hours away :( .
 
Well SFoG beats both parks, so regardless of your decision, you will still ultimately win!
