Have they got a new coaster coming? Coater World MX has seen what looks to be covered red track appear on site.

No idea but if track, it does look chunky like a B&M Dive, maybe they have something like Iron Menace coming.

Well deserved, it's been four years now since the park's opened a new attraction and they're a high earner for the chain. Couple this with a brand new government-funded theme park just opening downtown and the time is indeed right.

Our Mexican dream is about to come true. Roller coaster enthusiasts in Mexico have been waiting for a B&M coaster for many years. 🥳

You may still have to wait. Assuming that this is indeed track, this looks like a rounded backbone instead of the square B&M spine:

Which would narrow it down to a few manufacturers, but not limited to: Intamin, Premier, S&S, Zamperla, or Vekoma.

Now, I am not definitively saying it will be any of these... but last I checked, there sure seems to be a certain red Vekoma out there somewhere...

Would be very cool to see this pop up!

It's clearly not a B&M.

And the spine analysis certainly tilts me in one direction. 👀

I mean... the Six Flags chain is clearly working with Vekoma thrill coasters now since they got that super boomerang 👀

Idk yet of course, y'all have your speculations I probably will never end up in SFM

Technically, yes, they are; but picking up a brand new coaster from a project that fell through is a bit different than getting on the 'waitlist' & ordering a ride from Vekoma directly. It's what happened with the Intamin Ultra Surf in Georgia and almost certainly what happened with the Super Boomerang.

If this indeed is that Tilt Coaster, I think it's the exact same situation playing out, and I think this would have been Energylandia's Tilt.

According to this site, which indicates that a "Type A" Roller Coaster will be built, we can see the land that will be needed for the construction of the new Vekoma roller coaster and the project schedule: https://www.procesodeconsultavecinalsixflags.com/proyecto

The area marked on the map suggests that it will be a very large construction.

The new roller coaster is expected to open in 10 months. The site doesn't show details or features about the roller coaster, we will have to wait for the announcement from Six Flags Mexico.

Some other interesting info from that site:

"It begins with the dismantling of some general elements of the area, such as gates, as well as roofs and other general components. The dismantling of the Aquaman Splashdown components will also be carried out and will be sent to another Park for installation and use."

"Excavations will be carried out to allow for the placement of adequate foundations to ensure the full safety of the Project during its Operation Stage. Approximately 60% of the excavation work will be reused in the re-leveling of the “Samoa Theatre” (within the Park itself), which will become a service plaza for the Park users; the remaining 40% will be used for leveling and filling footings within the construction Project itself. The construction of more than 150 footings is planned, which will guarantee the correct and safe operation of the attraction once installed."

"During its nearly 25 years of operation, the Park has distinguished itself by prioritizing, above any other asset, the safety and integrity of each and every one of the users with whom it interacts; its staff, collaborators and suppliers, as well as the more than 3.5 million visitors it receives each year.
