What's new

Six Flags Magic Mountain | first-of-its-kind (in North America) coaster | 2026

Oh for sure I'm just playing devil's advocate 😂

Riddler for me is an interesting one as it was partly built as a nostalgia thing for shockwave which had closed 10 years earlier. It's also easily the best of it's kind. It's probably the one ride they have that is the best of it's kind (Tatsu is up there but falls behind sky ripper for me)

Ok yes the model as whole basically died a death but it was one hell of an exit note.

And it's all relative. I would kill to have almost any single one of SFMMs coaster in a park in the UK. Put Batman, Riddler, Colossus and Goliath in a new UK park and it's probably the best lineup in the country

Could be themed to a cyclotron.
I assume you don't mean this kind of cyclotron? A particle accelerator. Would be an interesting choice but almost fits for a launch coaster.

Although in terms of raw aesthetic it fits with SFMMs general vibe these days.

hoping to GOD its a vekoma flyer or an S&S axis. it better not be something stupid like an S&S freefly.
Are you sure you're talking about a Freefly model and not a Freespin model?
There is only one freefly coaster in the world (Sweden) but it's already 15 years old. So I don't think there will ever be a new one from that model.
And there are already enough Freespin coasters in the USA, so I don't think you want more of those,

They are telling it will be "A first of it's kind in North America" and NOT a first in the World.
