Shubinine's dev topic [Cold Front [WIP] pics page 8]

I was sure I'd commented on this ride the other day after downloading it. Clearly not

It was a pretty good track, I liked the use of all the different elements, it worked well. I had to change the number of trains down to two though, otherwise it was crashing in one of the tunnels. Also, the final immelmann seemed to be taken very slowly. But other than that, I enjoyed the ride.

^ Yeah I'm not sure why it was doing it either. Because I assumed that you wouldn't have sent it out with the trains crashing. They were doing it in the tunnel just before the launch. It wouldn't let me run more than two without a crash.

Oh btw,

I have just finished another coaster but I don't think I'll upload it as it is basically just a bigger brother to Silverstar with very small modifications..

But if anyone wants it I can upload it somewhere...

Double....

After making about 15 coasters with no limits and elementary, i decided it was time for something new.... so i got Newton 2..

It is probably one of the hardest programs I ever used, but I somehow managed to make a coaster... Still, I don't understand 75% of the program, so I would appreciate very much if any of you would have the patience of learning me some basic stuff...

Note: the banked s turn before the brakes(1st pic) is non-newtoned because of some techical problems

The only thing I can say is to practice using multi-zone force sections. Only use single zone for SIMPLE things, such as turns and whatnot. Don't use it for transitions, leave that to multi.

I have no clue, but I can tell you that the zero-g-roll is well off with the shaping... And the loop, and cobra roll, as well as the other inversions ;)

Meh.. I'm still new to newton... at least it's better than anything I have made to date...

Shubinine, the owner of Shubinine Land, has announced today that the park's new coaster "Deep Ocean Dive" will be an Inverted coaster, made by the swiss company B&M. The coaster will have 6 inversions. This will be the park's second coaster after "Assassin's Creed: The Ride". This will also be the first inverted coaster in South Eastern Europe.

Counstruction is due to begin on April 16th, 2011.

If you hit me up on MSN, I can go over the program with you and give you some good pointers to help with building :)

^ I'm gonna wait for more opinions about that

In the meantime more parts have gone up...

Also.... Seems like the park is going to build something near the coaster... something big

Um.... No, the second support on the loop is not like that.... I just made an error before taking these screens and I didn't notice it until now.

So... What do you think until now?

It looks erm... very blue... Maybe try changing the supports to a different colour? Other than that, theres not a lot to comment on yet.

Oh look! They put the hole thing up!!! cool)

Now... about the colors... what about you suggest what colors would work well with the whole water-sea-ocean theme of the ride...

After the completion of Deep Ocean Dive and its first test run, Shubinine made public more stats about it:

Height: 43 meters / 141 feet
Max Speed : 97 kmph / 60 mph
Total Ride Time : 1:29
Elements: Loop
Zero-G Roll (x2)
Cobra Roll
Corkscrew (I think)

And please keep in mind that this is my first complete newton2 coaster

I've uploaded the coaster, it can be found here:

http://www.mediafire.com/?1kd79pg5qh0zaq0

Also I've uploaded it here too:

http://nolimits-exchange.com/coaster/35 ... ocean-dive

NOTE: My first newton2 COMPLETED coaster, which explains the weird shape of some inversions... so don't get too hard on me for that, I'm still trying to figure out the program myself..

NOTE2: I used the prefab supports on this one because they're closer to reality for inverts than what I could get by making my own supports

Honestly there should be no reason to use pre-fabs at all. The supports look realistic? make yours even more. The ride itself, yes it was smooth, but thats because you used tools, but there were still sections of awkward banking and harsh transition. You should also watch your gs, the last zero G I clocked 2.2 lats. The layout was pretty meh, traditional invert nothing too special. Try spending some more time on your rides, do all custom supports, check the banking, and most importantly, ride EVERY seat to make sure it's good from every seat.

I'd give it a 5/10

Re: Shubinine's dev topic

So, after taking a break form NL and a short trip to Europa Park, I bring you 2 pictures from my new project...

Inspired by Silver Star? :P
