According to Screamscape:
(2/15/14) I reached out to Sue Carpenter at Six Flags Magic Mountain this week to find out more about the Mooseburger Lodge project. According to Sue the old Mooseburger is no more. Starting March 22nd, when the park opens for daily operations, the restaurant will reopen as Full Throttle Sports Bar & Grill. The inside will have been completely gutted and renovated with a new sports enthusiast theme, with over 20 HDTV’s added to broadcast sports events to you from every direction.

While this may seem as skip over news, this SERIOUSLY pisses me off. Was it tacky and outdated? **** yes. Was it amazing? YES! For being where the park is, you could go in to a fully air conditioned building and enjoy free refills, good size portions for the best value at any amusement park that I have been to. Now, a sports bar isn't the worst thing to add, but they could have put it in Gotham, because the pizza place in front of Batman looked awful last time I was there.

I do have a sentimental connection to it though. My first trip there we had dinner there and it was the ending to a perfect day. We got the moose antler straws and had them for 15 years until they finally broke. It was a staple for all my visits, and it's even more upsetting that they are still using that YOLO **** theme for it.

SFMM still has a decent eatery. It's the Wendy's just outside of the park.

I thought you were going to say the only physical Marie Calenders location I know about.

Seriously though, Mooseburger was probably in my top 3 theme park restaurants, and was easily the best non Disney/Universal/SeaWorld restaurant I have had a park. Even if the food stays the same price/quality, the quirky feel of the place made it a great eatery.

They say that it will include like around 20 TV's playing sports and that kind of stuff. While I like the idea of having diversity in the park of the type of eateries, I'm not crazy about the theme. Not every one is into sports, so it may not appeal to everyone. Yet it may end up being the best place in the park to get food! Who knows? We'll just have to wait for it to open to find out.

This.
I went to Mooseburger the last time I was there, and it wasn't the same any more. They were just serving the same crap burgers as the rest of the park, but inside.
