Sunday was the last day of Spring Break for most schools, so my friend and I decided not too many people would be loserish enough to go to SFMM on your last day off (except us of course) and took a visit (I needed to get my pass anyway). It was also cold and rainy, which is like the end of the world to SoCalians, so there weren't many crowds to deal with.
X2 - 3
Viper - 1
Terminator Salvation The Ride - 3
Jet Stream (in 50 degree weather FTW) - 1
Gold Rusher - 1
Riddler's Revenge - 1
Batman The Ride - 2
Scream! - 1
Goliath - 2
Orient Express - 1
Sky Tower - 1
Damn. I missed the HALLELUJAH JUBILEE!
The day began with a sprint to X2, as usual. Twas running very smoothly.
It's Mr. Six.
Guess what they just did?
Yep. That's right.
HIDDEN MICKEY!!!
I would not doubt Terminator's ability to turn you into a little orange square.
Something is supposed to be said at the top of that lift hill. But it wasn't. Audio off.
Progress.
Omg omg...
I love this part of Deja Vu...unfortunately going up the tower forwards ruins the ride for me.
Haven't ridden it in at least a year, and I have no plans on torturing myself again.
Yeah. That tower.
These are becoming SFMM's mascot. Canadian geese > Mr. Six (and his kid...)
With roar comes rattle...
False air-time.
True hang-time.
Goliath got stuck...again.
Worth 25 cents.
Viper was disappointing, especially after a good ride in November. So much for the magical Arrow seat (5-1 & 5-2).
Cheater tall loop.
I still enjoy Viper...it's pretty unique for having such a typical layout of inversions.
Next time you say elevators can't be useful for taking pictures...THINK AGAIN!
See?
Hey, they put that old mouse car thing in here...
Haha.
Feel bad for this part of the ride...it was DROPPED.
Finally did get on Goliath later in the day, great ride as usual.
With all the black out talk going around about i305, I read that tensing up can prevent you from blacking out...which makes sense. It works. Now I can enjoy the death helix!
Pretty sure that's new.
I felt that the blue paint really enhanced my ride experience.
And I thought my camera was decent...
Tatsu from...a better ride's station.
I could've sworn SFMM was a Cedar Fair park...
Smile and put one hand up cause you're other hand is locked in by that Arrow restraint!
2nd or 3rd loop? Or 8th??
Oh, it's blurry?
You try taking a picture of Batman's zero-g at 7 PM. Then you know how I feel.
And that's it...I would include the picture I took of Viper at night but I think you've handled enough blurryness.
Despite my semi-negative ride comments, it was a great day. I've just ridden SFMM's coasters too many times...
