Over on the Coaster Friends Forum one of their members received a news letter from the park, in it they show some of their future plans. One of the new attractions is coaster called "Gozima" as of now it looks like they are aiming for a 2023 opening.




One of the members says it looks like an RES Air Loop which I agree with. If I is one of these I think it will be a great addition for this little park, I like how it can be a chill coaster or more thrilling.

Hatari Towers attraction has been set up and will operate at the park for this season. Seems like a small indicator that the survey plans are on track including the Air Loop.

In other recent news, the Senga Condor has been removed and the park has teased a replacement in the works… perhaps Air Loop, again?

The park’s moving quicker than anticipated, a press report has confirmed Gozimba for a summer 2022 debut as well as provided stats and artwork;

• 400m track length
• 25m maximum height
• 40km/h maximum speed
• 1.20m minimum height (rollovers disabled)
• 1.35m minimum height (rollovers enabled)

If you see the image at the beginning of this thread, that’s a custom layout. They’ll probably let the coaster lap a couple times regardless.

Serengeti Park has been teasing Gozimba’s progress. On Friday we got some closeups of track that has now arrived on site, and now a birdseye layout blueprint with the unusually wide station building that can be expected from Air Loops;

Looks like there's two sets of supports that will be used on the coaster - your standard dark green structure pieces and three thicker brown columns that will hold up the compact helixes.

Not a cat in hell chance it'll be open in a month.

Gozimba has been delayed until next year. The park's website now officially says 2023.

Seems like the park held a tour for enthusiasts two weeks ago, allowing for some up-close views of the track and further information;




It’s been mentioned that it’ll only run one train for now and achieve an hourly capacity of 342pph, although there are plans to purchase a second train in two years. It’s also officially a powered coaster, so depending on how some of you count your credits this wouldn’t be a coaster for you.

Construction has finally begun on Gozimba! Concrete was poured, as of the weekend the gigantic support columns were ready to go in;
