Universal Studios has reportedly signed a deal with the Zhuhai government to invest 150 billion yuan (US$24.29 billion) in a theme park in the city.
The park, to be located in Doumen district, will cover 10 square kilometers, Chinese property news portal Guandian.cn reported Friday.
The California-based company has been seeking opportunities to enter the mainland market since 2001, although past attempts have not been very successful.
