Rixos Theme Park (Turkey) Builds New Intamin Water Coaster

This came completely out of the blue. But Rixos Park a new park in Antalya, Turkey has built a new Intamin water coaster.
The ride is a clone of the one that opened at Wanda Xishuangbanna in China earlier this year.

It's tough to tell if this is actually just a water park with a coaster or the coaster is in a different part of the complex to the water slide towers. There is already a massive hotel on site.

Seems Turkey is becoming quite the place for Intamin rides recently.

Turkey is rapidly becoming a greatplace for theme parks and coasters - mightily impressed with the diversity of additions at the parks too. Majorly hiping they buy woodies soon.

To bad Turkey is an absolute dive, that new Intamin accelerator does look pretty good though.

Yeah, you're right, Turkey is such a dive, I mean...

The beaches are gross.

Culture, nah, has none.

I mean, even their markets, ****, they're so grey and disgusting and full of old men selling ladies' tights.

Don't even get me started about the countryside, flat and full of things you can see everywhere else in the world.

Don't even get me started about their food, **** disgusting stuff.

Oh, wait, yeah - you're wrong. Some areas are rough, but that's the same everywhere. Istanbul is much nicer than some other European cities and much friendlier than others, so I suggest you don't tarnish the country with your wrong opinion?

No Turkey is absolutely discusting, you can post a few images of the place looking nice but in reality the country is an absolute mess, obviously the will be nice places, but the fact that the country is riddled with crime, war and vile people out shines some of the absolutely lovely people among them. MY OPTION. Not yours, mine, I'm not stating it as fact but that's how I see Turkey at the moment, 10 years ago lovely, now, not so much.

You're being so hypocritical, "Turkey is absolutely disgusting" - then go on to say that only certain areas are bad, what the flying ****?!

At the end of the day, having worked there and visited many many times, I don't think that you're correct, at all. You may have been on one or two little visits and heard what's happening on the news with the whole Euro debates at the moment, but it's not a **** 'dive', and the fact you're still adamant that it is is just completely ignorant on your part.

I should have said most of Turkey, as it does have some beautiful places, tbf, but a few nice pictures will not change the experiences I've had in that country, and due to those experiences my option is 'wrong' but it won't change. I have no problem with Turkish people, if people are friendly then I'm friendly to them, however the people I came across were absolutely vile. I know I shouldn't paint a whole country with the same brush but after have 3 bad visits and 1 extremely bad visit it's hard not to, If you would like to know more about my bad experience in Turkey, feel free to PM me, but I will not be sharing publicly. Thank you, I'm not here to argue.

On a lighter note, the country does have some fairly decent parks being built recently.

That's better - you're not being so abrasive and giving reason to your comments. It's understandable that you've got a negative notion towards visiting there after having a few bad visits. I've had a bad visit to Florida and the Canary Islands (Tenerife was awful), yet I don't tarnish the whole of USA and Spain with the same brush - that's that really.

Never been to Turkey and I can't say I'd ever want to. I grew up with family holidays to Greece, so I'm probably indoctrinated.

I've had some great experiences in Turkey, Istanbul is one of my favourite cities in the world. Been 4 times now and often organise an extended stop over when i fly Turkish Airlines.

Anyway on this parks front heres some concept art and plans
looks like the water coaster will open with the water park but there is a theme park planned next door.
