Rebuild of Alpenexpress and Tiroler Wildwasserbahn Europa Park after major fire.

They have guards positioned in the ride full time during operating hours currently - otherwise the insurers wouldn't permit the its operation anymore.

After Batavia burned in 2018 there was talk of the need to rebuild Geisterschloss as the interior framework is wooden, however they decided to hold off until after Batavia reopened but then Covid struck and it was delayed indefinitely. Now following the Diamond Mine/Alpenexpress fire they basically have been forced to carry out the project asap.

Not sure where I should post this since it may not pan out, but concept art for a potential Euro-Mir do-over have leaked online. An artist who formerly worked for Europa put up a selfie on their LinkedIn page, where concept art for a reimagined Euro-Mir can be seen in the background (to the right in the image below). Art for a Helter Skelter-type slide was also spotted.

The Euro-Mir art also includes new trains which sport a white/silver and red color scheme:

Fantastic, hopefully it'll soon appear in real life even if a tad different. Europa certainly very busy in all aspects of the park atm

If you're talking about Daniel Kerscher. He was one of the creative leads on a lot of Europa's rides. Some of which has not come to fruition. There's a lot of artwork and designs in his portfolio that are not yet happening, or have been shelved. He's an absolutely incredible artist and creative.

Not sure where to post so here i guess?

Geisterschloss has been confirmed in a FB Comment to be having a complete renovation of scenes & animatronics aswell as a new fire system additionally. Hope to open for Summer 2024

Again not sure where this belongs however Geisterschloss gondolas have been removed from the building & the main entrance plaza floor has been removed completely
