Yep - another food preperation poll! what's the best way to do potatoes?

Roasted, then chips. I love mashed too, but only if it's served with garden peas to mix in with it to stop it being bland

Though roast potatoes and chips have got to be cooked properly. I can't be doing with crap, dry ones.

I like wedges though too

How is mash winning?? It is vile and awful in every way. As are new potatoes...and jacket...and boiled... BLEUGH. Has to be roast. My grandma (as all other grandmothers do) makes the world;s best roast potatoes...well she cooks them, she doesn't make them.

I of course like chips especially chip shop chips but you can't eat them without vinegar...and you can't eat french fires with vinegar....it's weird :S

I hate potatoes, typically.

Crisps are the best format.

I like all other potatoes depending massively on the quality of prep. Typically, I avoid them. I see them as a useless food.

Oh, wait, in curry they are ALWAYS good.

I love potatoes in basically all fashions. My grandma's mashed are by far the absolute best.

Roasted is probably the best you can get, although Mashed and Baked are pretty damn good too.
