I was SO sceptical when I first heard about this. I really didn't want it to go in, but that was just because I was so enthusiastic for them to get the whole new Amazonia area. Although, when I saw these pictures, it's amazing what they've done. It looks so cheesy. Plus, some good areas for photos of Khan <3

I give it a week before it's covered in gum and graffiti.

It does look very nice though.

Wow that actually turned out to be way better than I expected the area to look. At first I was worried that it would just look tacky and not fit into Port Aventura, but they have done an awesome job.

Now please get a B&M in 2012 please !

To me, this doesn't quite match the quality of themeing found in other areas from PA and just looks totally out of place in a park themed to 5 different countries. It will be great for kids? Well, yes. Not that the park was lacking in the kids rides department (in fact, PortAventura was conceived to have a similar amount of rides for everyone in each area, so they don't really need a specific area).

Now, please, do your homework and install a big-ass B&M. Ever since Furius Baco, gate figures have been going down every season. Maybe it's time to get them back.

Sesame Street is a bit outdated here, I dunno how popular it is over there but I love what they did with the land, it's really cute and I think kids will like it. Having not been to Port Aventura I can't really say how well it fits with everything else, but I can't see it being that out of place, because they seem to have done a good job. Sure it doesn't fit in with the "5 countries" theme or whatever but kids will be more interested in this than something themed to a country.

To be totally honest, it DOESN'T kind of fit in with the usual themes. Although, where it is situated, trees etc are blocking it from view. So it doesn't spoil the rest of the atmosphere in the Polynesia/ China area. The park is VERY cleverly set out, in the way that, when you're in one area, you can't see the other areas, the exceptions are entry & China. Because entry is at the bottom of th hill and China is at the top.

So yeah, it may actually be ok

Yeaaaah, it doesn't look like it goes with the rest of the park. Although, it definitely will attract a lot of families to visit. But, I'm hoping that it all goes well. I'll be taking my niece, so I'll let her be the judge

I agree that it's a bit out of step with the rest of the park.

But going away from aesthetics, popular character areas do bring in guests. So as long as the Sesame Street brand remains popular (which it will), and if they keep it clean, it should be a sound investment.

The best bits of this area will be (IMO):
- The rethemeing and overhauling of Tami tami
- The Jetski

And despite the area being a dump, I have to admit that the advert is well-thought and conveys the idea of a children/family area. Shame the height restrictions are not so family-friendly...
