Oddities of Asian Coasters

Well, I guess if the train gets stuck in the inversion...but I can't seem to think of anything else. There are lots of coasters that have them, some well known but I guess it's mantainance.

Aren't corkscrews under more stress from the force of the train because of their tightness?

Could it be to do with stricter health and safety laws? I know very little about the 'culture' of Asia, but it could just be something as simple as that. Is there any way we could find this out?

Seriously, how has this not been locked in favour of the topic EXACTLY the same as the one already in active use?

Are we that desperate for topics now we don't even care if they're repeats?

^Pretty much.

^^As far as Korea goes, the only other coasters that have those are the Japanese Meisho ones. The only thing I can think of is that the Koreans were used to seeing the catwalks on the Meishos they were buying, so asked for them when they finally went to a Western manufacturer. Fantasia Special is pretty old; none of the newer coasters have them.

It's more of a case of "why does it matter?" for me. If you're all that bothered, go bump the other topic and let this one die. But no one usually does. So if the new topic gets locked, what happens is all conversation on the topic just ceases. What good does that do? But that's just my opinion...

Now that someone has taken it upon themselves and bumped the other topic, though, I'm happy to lock this one. :)
