Oblivion?

Because floorless is not a requirement. It doesn't HAVE to go floorless. I've never ridden it so I can say anything about the riding experience, but I cant imagine it would be any different.

For it go floor less it would need a lot of station work to fit in the moving floor and there is not enough room where the station is.

I have done Oblivion and the floor less Sheikra and I dont think not having a floor will add anything to Oblivion tbh. It will cost a lot of money for very little apart from getting some interest back in the ride.

Yeah, your feet don't touch the floor when you're sat in those seats anyway, so it would only be the view that it changes, not the actual sensation. I don't really see the point, as due to the nature of the ride, the bit you want to see is ahead of you, not below you anyway.

They do if you're not terminally short :P

The rest of that statement I agree with though.

Shall I cock off now or later Nic? ;)

Anyway, the station can't be modified to make it floorless. The station is actually built into the concrete "queue building". It's not just a simple "floating platform". So they'd have to do major amounts of work to put the mechanism in place. Probably destroying the station and queue - which is a little excessive considering the number of short arses there are in the world.

(the correct answer was to cock off later BTW :P )

Why hasn't Oblivion gone floorless yet?Is it because the tunnel would have to be bigger?
Nah, nothing to do with tunnel width...SheiKras floorless trains are the same width as its old 'floored' trains.
Furthermore, I think SheiKra was designed with the floorless conversion in mind, so the area underneath the station was deliberately kept clear for the retracting floor be be installed.

On Oblivion, (echoing Furie here) the queue actually runs right below the station , You can look up and see the underside of the track and trains:

too much pain for too little gain...

They'd be better spending the money on a decent flat to replace enterprise and/or submission

It doesn´t make any differences, I remember thet when I was small (I had my big strech in the late late 90´s) and I didn´t touch the floor, it was still the same expirience. Just a tiny winy bit better, tbh not worth the floor"less" as, You think more about "Ho, I have no floor" than "Ho, Im about to fall 100ft"
