Great reports Nicky, really brought back memories on when I went. (shortly after you got back. =])

Did you think that the actual Statue's island was worth it? As I skipped that due to the queue being FAR too long.

I see you didn't get scammed into the New York Skyride (at the Empire State Building). That was rubbish but it did shorten our queue.

Looking forward to the rest of your New York and Washington photos. :)

It was cool to go up and see it close. Like a once in a lifetime kinda thing but I wouldn't really go again if I want to NYC unless I was with someone who hadn't been. Going up to her crown would have been good but it wasn't open.

We pre-booked out Empire State tickets so it was literally straight through all the queues to the elevators. Only a short queue there then.

When I first booked Avenue Q it was when the run in London was definitely ending so I thought NYC would be the best place to catch it. The theatre is really small and even on the top circle you felt really close to the stage. $66 for each ticket and that was the cheapest.
