(note: if you are reading this just after I posted it, the images may break the layout. The preview starts with them large as they're loading and then resizes them. I'm unsure what this means once I actually post them. I'll try to fix it immediately if it breaks the layout)

I've been wanting to start this topic since I got here, but I couldn't due to the inability to add links and images for a week. 2 and a half weeks later, I just remembered that I wanted to start this topic!

Anyhoo, I got NL back in 2008, but after about 3 months I stopped playing. Over the past few years, I've picked it up again every once in a while. Late last year, I discovered Newton 2 and have been trying to get better at using it. While I've made over 10 coasters, I'm mainly just posting my more recent ones here. I'm only going to post a very brief description here as I have very in-depth ones on NoLimits Exchange that would make this first post even longer than it already is.

Before I get to my recent ones, here's a hand-built coaster I did back in 2008. It marked the first time I had done extensive support work. It's an X-Car coaster called Jolt. A better description can be found at http://nolimits-exchange.com/coaster/2454/jolt-mrx8991.

Now onto the Newton coasters! My first Newton 2 coaster is an Intamin Accelerator called Jet Stream. A more detailed description can be found at http://nolimits-exchange.com/coaster/2474/jet-stream.

I took a break after Jet Stream and warmed up recently with T-Rex, an Intamin woodie. A more detailed description can be found at http://nolimits-exchange.com/coaster/3391/t-rex.

And finally, my latest coaster, Rippin Rocket, is a Premier Rides coaster similar to Sky Rocket at Kennywood. A more detailed description can be found at http://nolimits-exchange.com/coaster/3465/rippin-rocket.

If you have an account at the NoLimits Exchange, I hope you will rate these rides along with my other ones (some of which are way way overrated). Here are the download links for everybody else.

Those are absolutely amazing, Mr. X. The one that really caught my eye was the Jet Stream. I love how you've put it together.

Awesome job :--D

Thank you very much!

Over the past few days, I've been working on a new project. The coaster itself is fairly simple, but the big deal is this is my first ride with custom scenery. It's called Dragon Castle. I'm not done yet, but I might be done tomorrow night. However, I may require a version 2 for this one as there are some small things that I missed when creating the 3ds. However, I have lots of school work coming up and don't really have time to fix it. I know releasing an inferior project might be stupid, but if I don't "finish" the map and release it now, I'll forget about it and eventually lose all motivation.

Anyhoo, here's the preview shot of the coaster. I'm not that good at 3-D models (I use Sketchup, so there's an indication) but I think it looks decent for what it is.

If that was real, would that be the first boomerang flyer?

Otherwise looks good, and I would love to ride it if it was real. Nice themeing.

Well, if built how I made it, yes, it would be the world's first flying boomerang. However, due to the switch from sitting to flying partway through, it would be more likely to be done with a 4th dimension style train. Also, thank you!

That was an interesting concept. From watching the video you get a very out of control disorientating feel from the ride, something you're more accustomed to with flats like top scans. It was a strange experience to watch that, I'll be honest.

Hmm... nice concept. Like jokerman said, it was disorientating (from the video at least, I don't have the Track Packager on my laptop yet), but the theming felt a little too 'big' if you know what I mean. The track seemed good, but overall the ride fell into the category of "fantasy" for me. That's not really a bad thing I don't think, I just tend to avoid coasters like that in NL.

Still, enough of me bitching, nice ride and you've done well with the theming. :)
