Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Can we have more than two coasters? Or just two with several flats?

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

You can have as many coasters as you want, as long as it's more than 2.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Awsome!
I'm still waiting for Platinum to get here so I haven't started yet. If it takes too long I will just do it on the Vanilla RCT3 I have installed now.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

^ Okay, thanks. Just checking...or else I'd have to do some serious remodeling, haha.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Vanilla RCT3 is when you don't have any expansion pack, just plain RCT3. At least that is what I call it anyway...

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Ok, so as I had most votes in round 1, I can't enter this, correct?

If yes, It'd be a slight pity as this actually looks more of a fun round.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

^ You can submit an entry, but it won't be in the voting or anything.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Ill be the first to enter then, please take into account that this has been put together real quick due to me going away tomorrow.
Anyway, Introducing Redridge Castle, this old medieval castle fell into ruin until the area was overtaken by the Redridge Hills Park, mostly restored the castle is now the center point of the parks Medieval England area.

The area contains three attractions the first, Excalibur, is a drop tower upon a tower, its by far the tallest ride within the park and can be viewed from miles around.
Shot0010.jpg

Secondly we have Joust, a simple Mouse ride primed for the thrill seekers of tomorrow.
Shot0009.jpg

Finally the main attraction for the area, Guillotine, a truly breathtaking ride to both ride and to witness. This B&M Floorless coaster swoops around the perimeter of the castle walls and incredibly overhanging the outer walls of the castle providing a truly remarkable ride experience.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

^No, I am saying that because I made mine castle themed as well and I'm pissed off.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Wow. That was really good. Great job! I can't top it.

Turns out Platinum will be longer than expected :(
So I built it! Took the pics, just need the POV now.Cheers!

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Here is my entry:
It is themed around an Egyptian pyramid & features a B&M Floorless Dive Machine, a Youngstar coaster, a flying carpet flat ride & an ImagineerJohn's Spring Ride.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

^Great job!

Unfortunatley, (not sure if that's spelt right) I can't film as RCT3 isn't working, so no POV, but I took some pictures so here they are.

I forgot to resize the pictures. Hopefully they aren't too big... I can resize if it's better. Just ask.

It is certainly not my best work, but here goes.
This is my park Posiedon's Kingdom, and it is themed around Atlantis. I have Tintino, which is a B&M launch coaster. (Tintino, BTW, is the greek goddess of the ocean) I have Sea Turtle Escape, which is a small Tivioli, kidie coaster. Lastly, I have Neptune's Trident, which is an S&S launched Power Tower. I also have a small food court, bathrooms and ATMs.

Here is a view from above:

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Well, I guess I might as well post today since it seems like everyone else is.

And although I kinda wish I could change my theme after seeing that Colossus also did a castle theme I really don't have the time and I think my version is significantly different so I'm gonna enter it and see what you guys think.

So without further ado I present Square Table Park. It seems King Arthur didn't feel like being so fair about where people sit (or who gets the biggest and best rides named after them). This classic medieval style castle is built up on a rather distinct 20x20 plateau for further protection. The park's main attraction is the twisting woodie taking on the name of the beloved King Arthur. Complimented with virginia reel mini coaster, Court Jesters, and the flat ride Dungeon, Square Table Park is small but full of fun.

First, a simple overview of the park
SquareTablePark1.png

Something that makes King Arthur such an intense coaster are the various crossing points of its two trains
SquareTablePark2.png

Here's another near miss
SquareTablePark3.png

The castle's keep is centrally located and contains part of King Arthur
SquareTablePark4.png

A POV shot on Court Jesters is a great display of how the majority of the ride takes place literally within the castle walls
SquareTablePark5.png

Guests have a great view from atop the wall. In the foreground of the keep is Dungeon

Here are the POVs for each coaster, first King Arthur, then Court Jesters. Sorry about the lack of audio or editing. Windows Movie Maker hasn't been allowing me to use the RCT3 video files as of late so I haven't been able to make any changes to my clips.
