More B&M Track

Antinos

Slut for Spinners
There's even more B&M track being manufactured in Ohio. Screamscape posted a large update as well as Theme Park Review. They show off bright yellow, somewhat twisty track. Screamscape says that this could go to Toverland, Carowinds, Efteling, Universal Singapore, or a park in Dubai. I've concluded that this will either be a looper or a flyer because of one of the track pieces shown below:

Personally, I can see this either going to Carowinds, Efteling, or Universal. The only thing about Carowinds is that they are rumored to be getting a hyper. Efteling is rumored to get a flyer, and it could also be a sitdown/floorless for Universal.

^ I can almost guarantee that it isn't for Efteling, since that track would most likely be manufactured in Switzerland. I would almost make the same assumption of the ones for the middle east, since it would be a lot closer to make those pieces in Europe compared to in the east side of the US.

And if Carowinds are getting a hyper in the future, then the track isn't going there, since some parts show that it will have some kind of looping elements as you have said.

My money would be on a coaster at Universal Studios Singapore, but it could be anywhere in North/south America or anywhere around the Pacific ocean for that matter.

^ If you look at the pictures here: The TPR thread.
Then they look brand new to me, with a nice shiny paintjob and no rust visible.

Also they have a picture showing a sticker on the track and it says "Customer X-Works! on it, hmmm...

Wow! Interesting! I love when something like this happens. Speculation time!

Personally, I think this may be for Singapore. The concept art shown (wow! Strong backup :D) has yellow track:

However, this could be for any unknown park in China too. As it was last time.

Pokemaniac thats the artwork for Universal Dubai not Singapore.
We're already pretty sure the Singapore ride is Vekoma and if i remember correctly themed to Battlestar Galactica.

However my bet is with you on the Kong ride in Dubai.

We know that for China B&M ship out of Ohio (The 2 dive machines and flier all were shipped from there) so it could be for a chinese park too.

^ Do you know which company will build the Hulk coaster at US Singapore, or is that one also a Vekoma?

^I'm not sure if Singapore will even have a Hulk coaster...so far the only coasters confirmed are Mummy, and the two Battlestar ones.

^ I'm pretty sure that there is a big hulk like coaster on the concept model/drawings I have seen, as well as the Battlestar and Mummy ones, also RCDB lists it.

Interestingly the pattern of rides built in the US and delivered to Asia is a little odd. As far as i can tell recently at least they have been China only

Built in Ohio = Crystal Wings (China), Dive Coaster (China), Unknown Dive Machine (China)

Not in Ohio = Hollywood Dream (Japan), Phaethon (S Korea)

I cant say much for the older 6 (Pyrenees, Diavlo, Gambit, Oriochi, G5 and Insane Speed) but i would hazard a guess that none were built in Ohio. (i have no proof of that but someone might)

As for the track itself

Judging by the way the track with the inversion connector bends inwards i would say this is not an Invert. And the track is certainly not a dive machine. So that leaves us with Sitdown/Flyer.

I would say a guess at a sitdown ride at Universal Singapore is probably our best bet

One final thing that might support this. We know that Battlestar will have 2 sides. A sitdown and an inverted. I first thought that a hulk style ride would be too similar to the sitdown side of Battlestar until i remembered the article about battlestar having one intense looping side and one more family orientated side. Which would provide a reasonably different ride style.

Right now feel free to shoot me down on any of those points. im just thinking aloud

This was taken from here:

In the course of developing the Resort over the past 10 months, RWS decided to include
in Universal Studios Singapore a new coaster. Added to another coaster in the original
plans to make up a pair
, this improved attraction now pits two different roller coasters —
one seated and one suspended — against one another in aerial combat. A high-speed
launch
and heart-pumping near-misses make these coasters unlike any other in the world.
One coaster gives a more intense ride, concentrating on loops and rolls, while the other is
just slightly more family friendly, with heart-stopping climbs and drops. This will be the first
of its kind in this region where friends and siblings can “compete” on separate coasters
and narrowly escape near-collisions in the course of the ride.

This is just speculation on my part, but I'm guessing the original ride started life out as something along the lines of hulk, but they then decided to add in a family coaster to make it a dueling one.
Certainly an odd situation.

It seems as if some of the things have changed along the way since those original models.
The spiderman ride pictured here for instance has since been dropped, with the transformers ride coming instead.

The Hulk track would be green I would that thought.

Could it be that new dueling coster that is going to be built.

My money is on a Hulk clone in Universal Studios Singapore.

Also they may be getting a Dueling Dragons clone by the looks of things, so I think the track is going there.

Edit: I just compared the yellow loop section with a hulk main loop on paintshop and it matched up exactly.

Woah, wait, going back before all the Universal stuff, because I don't know about that... since when were Efteling supposed to be getting a B&M...?

It's just that would be one of the most out of place coasters around...

Why would be yellow though, so thats why I dont think its the Hulk.

I bet if you also compared the loop track to other B&M'a it would also match.

^Yeah, you compare it to pretty much any large B&M sit-down's large loop, and you get a 'match' so it will obviously be a clone of every large B&M sit-down ever made.

So, I would not go off that as a reason for it being a Hulk clone.

Do you think that The Hulk and Deuling Dragons will be named and painted/themed the same?

Please read the posts before.

The dueling ride will be themed to battlestar galactica, one sit down and one stand-up. probably built by Vekoma and not B&M

The hulk style ride is an unknown.

I did read the posts can not find any that state Vekoma are building it, its just rumors that they are unless I have missed something.
