I'm with Jordan (simply to be contrary to Joey ). I have a few really exceptional wooden coasters, then a bunch which are "great fun" or "good". Then it's all meh or forgettable and then you hit the bottom with "painfully dreadful", "scenic" and "kiddie". I think I have like 10 or 11 enjoyable wooden coasters, then the rest are just a bag of ****.

See, I'd say my top 10 are probably all 10/10 quality. 9 and 10 are significantly less awesome, crap by comparison, but still 10s. I have trouble deciding which of the other 8 are better, they are all SO good.

With me it's:
1-2: 9.5 or higher
3-7: 9.5 - 7.6
8-15: 7.5 - (Being REAL courteous to Gwazi since i haven't ridden it in forever)

Embarrassingly I've only been on 23 wooden coasters, so I do have good reason giving Dragon Coaster a 5 and some of my top ten woods a 7.5 or something above a six. If I had to rate everything strictly it would be something like Phoenix (9.8), Twister (9.0), Grizzly (8.2), Gwazi (7.4), Hellcat (6.5), Dragon Coaster (6.0). It's horrible, I know

Just filled out my ballot. Favourite steel goes first, then top 5 is as follows:

1. Apocalypse (SFMM)
2. Megafobia (Oakwood)
3. Tonnerre de Zeus (Parc Asterix)
4. Roar (SFDK)
5. GhostRider (Knott's)

I've only ridden 16-18 woodies (depending on how you count), so don't have that many to choose from. Like Joey I found that there were several coasters that I thought were really good, then it just went to those that I dislike (Stampida, Gwazi, etc.) - probably due to the fact I haven't ridden that many! I do quite enjoy the Blackpool woodies though.

Despite having ridden almost 200 coasters i really have a low number of woodies in there... Like REALLY low. I can infact make a top 10 because there are only 10 now that Pegasus has gone.

..and Wildcat (LC) at an honorable bottom place, THE worst coaster experience I've ever experienced!

Here's the list I just sent off for the ballot. The top and bottom are pretty concrete, but I'm afraid to say that my some of the woodies from the summer US Live have blurred in my memory as we whizzed through them so fast, I didn't give them the full appreciation they deserved. Everything from Thunderbolt to Rolling Thunder is a bit of a fudge based on me trying to revisit through POVs.
