Nice report Matt, I'm glad you had a good experience at PortAventura! And it's also great that the park wasn't too crowded on your visit and the operations were good. 
Sometimes having a park close to home makes us underestimate it but it's nice to read these opinions from someone who is coming for the first time.
Shambhala was one of the coasters that got me into this hobby quite a few years ago, a great #1! And I agree with your opinion on Street Mission, they don't talk about it much, but it's a great dark ride!
