LWV Buy Rapids

Good news, they're ace!
 
Its good news. I thought they would look awful when i saw photos, but when i saw them with my own eyes, the ride didnt look bad. Sure brightens the place up abit :lol:
 
Oh! I didn't even know it was on lease, well I feel like a n00b.

They are fun but

a) look awful and

b) were extremely unreliable.

I was there over the summer and it was down for pretty much half the day. I asked the ride op if it was down frequently and went "noooooooo" while nodding his head viggerously.

Anybody else experience shady reliability with this ride? Must have had the issue sorted if they bought the thing.
 
It was running fine at the Live in September.

Trouble is, LWV can't afford loads of theming. And seeing as it's a big field with a few rides on it, creating theme isn't easy.
 
It doesn't need to be a 'theme' as such. Just 'spruce' it up a bit to make it look less tacky. A new, darker paint job would help.

And it was running fine when I visited in August.
