Which show is the best TV show out there. Too me its Lost. What do you think
Both are well made programs. In terms of (episode) writing, directing, acting and production - they're both pretty much on a par.
Lost is aggravating in the way it keeps on teasing and teasing. It's frustrating, but makes you want to know what's going.
The thing with Lost though, is that you know that (very soon) the whole thing will be wrapped up. All the questions will be answered and everything will make sense. Knowing there is closure makes it all worth while.
Heroes started well, but then it kind of got lost. I stopped watching after Season 2 as I just couldn't really be bothered. It didn't seem to really have a direction any more and was just inventing twists and turns deliberately. You don't get any real feeling of "this is going some where".
However, the characters (on the most part) are good and you do get attached to them. It's just, well, it's just all so futile.

I was going to say the same about Firefly, but it was actually a pile of dingos kidneys.

I watched the first episode of Lost on Channel 4 after a lot of hype. Even though the next episode was on straight after, I skipped it. A wise decision I think as Lost really has got Lost in itself....
Heroes was ok. I didn't watch the first series, due to previous disappointment from hypes (The Sci-Fi channel played episodes 1 and 2 back to back for 24 hours *sighs*), but I watched most of the second series and got into it, but then found I lost interest.
So the answer is neither, as most American dramas really are crap, but for the purposes of this topic, Heroes.

Lost did slow down a bit in season 2/3, but the last two seasons have been stunning, and the final one looks to be the same.

It's my opinion I didn't like it enough to watch a second episode, which is better than me saying ' I thought it looked crap, so didn't watch it'
