Longest gap between coasters

Whilst this subject has kinda moved on to modern day parks, I'll just drop this in here. Bellewaerde Park in Belgium has 2 coasters, a large Tivoli that opened in 1981, and Boomerang that opened in 1984, and thats it!

So thats quite a modern, large park, that is owned by a large chain (same owners as Walibi's and Asterix), which has gone 27 years without a new coaster!

If I had known then what I know now, I would have ridden it for historical and research reasons.

That`s exactly why I rode it, I knew it was there and hence decided to do a bit of research on it. Its not the best coaster obviously, but it hold a special place in my heart because of the history behind it and also because it was the first woodie I rode.

According to RCDB.com,

Parque de Atracciones Monte Igueldo had no coasters for 83 years. They only have one coaster: Montana Suiza which was built in 1928, still operating.

I don't think there is any other theme park with that large of a gap.

^They'll have to build another for there to be a gap. Until then...

Idlewild has a long gap between coasters of which both are currently operating according to RCDB.com:

-Rollo Coaster: 1938
-Wild Mouse: 1993

That is 55 years without a coaster!
