Day 3 Mirrorlumbuniland

Park I was most looking forward to, so how did it turn out?

I have no pictures of Katun which I am actually upset about. The day started off with 30 mins art which trust me was than enough lol. 1st ride was front row and I thought fantastic, then back row which was a bit rough. Then like an idiot I rode every single row to the point I thought I was going to be sick on the last ride. Great coaster but no its not a Nemesis, Mamba or even Montu.

So we walked to the next ride which was a kiddy coaster, yes I was nearly sick on it

Off to ispeed.

I thought the coaster was ok but every single airtime hill my legs got crashed by the restraint which for me totally killed the ride.

Off to a family Vekoma coaster.

Next was a Wild Mouse which was actually nice

Then the 300th for me, a powered coaster lol.

I think we done the rapids next? They were fantastic, great pace and some people got soaked.

Reset was next, I still do not understand the ride but the area was quiet well themed.

By the time we got out it was raining and raining hard, the park shut all the rides so we left.

The drive was scary the amount of times the car skidded Also sorry to everyone in my car as I think for an hour in that jam I needed to go to the loo and was in a panic lol. It was a shame about the rain as I bet that drive is really nice, the views even with the low cloud were stunning.

Sorry there are not many pics but I felt really rough.

I am in 2 minds about this park tbh, it just lacked an atmosphere. The shops did not open until 12 and all I wanted was a drink which was hard to find. It was very much a tick in the box rather than a great park which was a let down Maybe we just hit it on a bad day or maybe it was me lol.

I'm pointing more towards a bad day as it seems a few of us felt the same way. I think it's deeper than that though, I think we all just kinda disliked Mirabilandia as we didn't get a cred haha

I did not mind not getting the cred tbh as it gives me a reason to go back to the park again in a few years as I will go back to Italy.

We may have felt like that as the park was not busy and it was raining for some of the day, I just do not know. Nothing seeemed to flow there, there was no defind areas just random rides and no real theme yet the park was big.

I did not help myself anyway by over riding in the morning, I should have stopped riding when others did or taken a break half way through the ERT.

^ I didn't mind about master thai either as like I said before, I would like to give the park a second chance and maybe not do Katun 6 times in a row in the morning haha. Would also of liked to give it another go later in the day, same with ISpeed really.
So yeah, if a chance to visit again arises atleast we got master thai and the rollercoaster after that to look forward to.

I'm enjoying these trip reports. Shame so many of you disliked Mira, probably didn't help that too much Katun gave you all headaches. It's probably similar to Anubis, excellent ride but spread your rides throughout the day or otherwise you'll just feel ill.

It's a shame to hear about Rainbow's theming too, it's a park I'm really looking forward to.

Peep just go there and enjoy it Rainbow Magicland really is not that bad.

I will get my report up tomorrow I hope.

I am glad a few people are reading these and commenting as it feels like a complete waste of time if I am honest and thats not fair on the people doing them and Ian

Rainbow Magicland is super fab!

I hate when people don't read my reports, it really does feel like such a waste, especially the ones I put in life outside . I haven't been as active since I've been at Brad's but expect comments when I get home .

I've read and enjoyed all the trip reports so far. It's just that there's not much to comment on or say other than "great trip report".

But it is all appreciated and I do read it all and look at all the photos.

Final day = Rainbow Magic Land

Waiting for everyone to arrive.

Theming

1st coaster of the day, I actually had hopes for it as I liked Rip Rocket.

I loved the coaster one of the best of the trip. The launch was great and the coaster gave loads of airtime and g in places, great coaster.

Then we went on some random ride which was rather rubbish

Then the kiddy coaster but I have no good pictures

We then walked to the real kiddy area and went on the Wacky Worm.

No idea what this is but it looked nice.

Off to the next coaster, the none spinning spinning coaster. Have tbh it was bad rubbish layout and just not themed at all.

Off to the brilliant shooting ride.

Next was the Vekoma Mine Train, for some reason everyone of these on the trip was so rough

Here is a picture of the water ride from the air.

It was really good, not to wet and random theming on it.

The rapids were fantastic, really fast and you got wet due to effects.

I really liked the park, it lacked in atmosphere as it was empty and they need to play music in the park. The park was clean tidy etc and the rides are great they have what they need to survive they just need the people to visit. I know people hated the plastic theming but it was no more plastic than Alton, Thorpe and Chessy if I am honest.

So we then left the park and took the cars back

Thank you all for making this a great trip and thanks to Ian for arranging it all we really had to do nothing other than turn up it was stress free so that says a lot for you.

We then went our ways some went to Rome others went home.

It's a shame to hear about Rainbow's theming too, it's a park I'm really looking forward to.

For the most part I think you'll probably like it. The theming looks attractive and serves it's purpose, in spite of some relatively minor rough edges. The problem is, it's starting to break in places and is going to need some pretty serious upkeep to maintain the look. If you're looking to visit, sooner is probably better than later. I hate to think how the place will look in a couple of years.

Besides, the Vekomas are starting to get rough already

Shock: Fantastic ride, really smooth, some good airtime, some good forces.

Bomborun: +1 with a nicely themed train.

Caterpillar: +1 and the track is a nice shade of yellow

Spinner in the dark: Didn't spin, boring layout. It would be sooo much better if they had the lights on a flashing setting rather than a spotlight setting and it would also be better if they were on the ceiling instead of just plonked on the floor. Some music while inside wouldn't hurt either.

Vekoma mine train: Although newer than Mammut at Gardaland, this one was much more rough. The inside of the broken volcano things was discusting, it had loads of rubbish on the floor.

Rapids: These were really good, it's just the end part travelling through the cave was a bit wasted, maybe a few water cannons or animatronics would make it more interesting. You get soaked on these!

Shoot the chute: Most of us didn't come off too wet, so Jerry had a go and got a lot more wet than we did haha. I didn't notice the broken animatronics which I've heard people talking about, so for me it was a good ride.

Drop tower: I didn't mind it more than others, though I do think it was the amazing view which made it good for me haha.

Huntik: Amazing ride, really really liked this ride and again I didn't notice dodgy broken screens. I think this is the best shooter I've been on to be honest!

Observation Tower: Keeps you up high for a long time, so it's good for taking photos as you can see the whole park.

Believix: This was a suspended slow dark ride which was the worst attraction in the park. Maintanence left ladders on the floor, there was rubbish all over the place, the barbies on string looked terrible and one of the bigger dolls has had her hands ripped off already!

Apart from what I've written it's still a good little park and some great theming and if you get the chance should deffo give it a visit!

Since about 3pm this afternoon, I have been working on my video, still have around 60 seconds left of the song I am using. I have had a bit of a break during the editing, but its taking hours!

Seeing those shots of Raptor has made me even more excited for Swarm too. It looks so sexy! Even if Swarm is ****, it's going to look really awesome!
